You did a great job with the competition; it's way too easy to get carried away with what you have and what you don't have...not to mention the nerves. I'm a former Glock guy and the GX4 and TX22 are two of my favorite guns I've ever owned.

After hearing about the issue with pushing the trigger to the left makes it not reset, I tried it at the LGS. 2 of their 3 guns did it. Was at a different LGS, and both did it--I thought one didn't, but when I told the guy how many had the issue but that one didn't, he tried it, and it didn't reset. So I think Taurus needs to address it since, in a real shooting situation, someone might push the trigger a bit and could make it fail.

I have run thousands of rounds through mine, at manic paces, and it has not done that once. I have not heard of any of my friends that have gx4s report any occurrences of this either. I'm not saying it's complete bullshit, but I am saying what I'm saying.

@@johnnyshootsalot With the new $50 rebate and guns priced at $240, I was looking into them because $190 is a great deal on a P365-like gun. I found the issue mentioned in several places (forums and YT mostly). So that's why I went to check it. Some guns required very little leftward pressure others required ~6-7lbs (not too crazy to do with a tight, wrenching grip). I think MOST people pull the trigger back in a very straight manner--so most wouldn't notice it and would never have a problem. But the fact that I got 4 guns out of 5 to fail, definitely seems like cause for concern. I'd bet you or one of your friends can replicate this if you tried--though maybe not. Would it fail when you need it? Probably not. It just seems like an issue to me because I have seen it occur, even if you haven't. I'll probably pick one that doesn't do it up before the rebate thing expires on 1/15/23. See for yourself--> 1) One of many videos on YT (he goes into it the best): kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooiQp2ptf9WfqqM 2) One mention of it on a forum (see post #4 and the guy confirming it): www.taurusarmed.net/threads/gx4-trigger-reset-failure.441446/ I can find like way more instances of the problem if you still don't believe or think these two are both lying. But for all I know, it's the same guys posting in different spots. :)

@@joeflowers9084 I'm not saying you're lying. I'm just saying what I'm saying. Which is that your experience is in a store purposefully trying to cause something to happen that you heard about on KZbin. And my experience is over hundreds of rounds in real world and competition use. I'm not saying you didn't do what you are saying you did.

@@johnnyshootsalot Yep. I get that and know PLENTY of reviewers, like you, have had no issues--that's why I'm looking at them. The Humble Marksman and Honest Outlaw both really liked the GX4. NOTE: Like you, I also prefer guitars with bigger necks (which is odd since I've got short, stubby fingers).

Good video, I like the gx4, find it to be a good carry option.
