Goodwood Revival was brilliant- loads of stuff to see and Steph's video covers just about everything. Only thing missing was there is the opportunity to camp. I did that this year and it made all the difference. There are plenty of bars etc at Goodwood so camping avoided the need to worry about drinking and driving. The campsite was close by with loads of buses and army jeeps acting as shuttles. Also it was in walking distance. The vibe, atmosphere and general ambience was amazing. Definitely going next year. The organisation and infrastructure was first class to cater for the number of people there. Well done Steph on capturing the essence of the event.

Wow! The Goodwood Revival is so much more than I was ever aware of. That 1953 Cadillac four door, the green one, outside the casino, took me back over sixty years. My grandfather had one just like it, same color. I remember a trip of some 1,500 miles from California to New Mexico to visit relatives. The weather that Summer was good, but the Mojave Desert is quite hot, 115F quite common. His car vapor locked often. I was maybe five. No air conditioning or Interstate highways then. I'm sure I was a whiny pain in the butt. But Grandpa carried a water bag off his front grill, and the highway department had water barrels about every five miles. Thank you for a great video and memories.

I thought of a cool classic British vehicle that would be fun to see you drive, and one I loved seeing as a little kid when my dad was stationed at Mildenhall Air Base, when he was in the US Air Force. A bright red Routemaster double decker bus. When it comes to iconic British vehicles, you can't beat the Routemaster, which was how those who couldn't even afford a Mini, or were unable to drive got around.

Thanks for that amazing insight into what Goodwood is all about, ITV4 do shows about it but it's mainly the racing not so much of what's behind all of that. The car park was epic, I coould spend the weekend just trailing around that. Yes it may be expensive (I've not looked into it) but I doubt it'll be no more than a lads/girls weekend away at Ibiza and a damned sight more fun in my opinion.

Not sure why they went with the vintage look, its meant to be period accurate..not period after the period accurate. That shop was laughable with the dying mint wood and awkward tool selection, with that black tarnish pained fuel can. So weird, how people view the 1930's-1950's.
