This is my first time thanking someone on KZbin and I just wanna say thank u so much E2 for all the help u give students online.I live in India and recently gave my ielts.I got overall 7 band and individually I got 8 in listening, 6.5 in reading, 6.5 in writing and 7 in speaking.Although i have been learning English my entire life, i don't think I would have got good scores without the help of E2 classes.Finally i just wanna give some tips from my experience to students preparing for their IELTS.For speaking, u just need to talk in simple and fluent English and u can definitely get 6.5 or above.Try as much as possible to keep the conversation simple rather than saying complex words which might make it difficult for u to form the sentence.Also if u get nervous and say something wrong, do not panic as i did the same but then I spoke well in the rest of the conversation.Same goes for writing, try ur best to form good and simple sentences which will help u think faster and just do ur best to express ur thoughts rather than trying to think complex sentences which might end up wasting ur time.By doing wat i have mentioned above u can definitely get 6 or above in writing.Listening is the easiest one so do ur best to get as much marks possible as it will help u bring up ur overall.Just remember to concentrate on wat the speaker says and do not get distracted at all even for a second because of which I got 8 or else I would have easily got 9 in listening.Lastly for reading which I was confident about but turned out to be the hardest of all.Every student whom I spoke to found reading very hard as it was taking a lot of time to read and understand the passages.One of the best tips that i can give for reading is that most of the questions are not that hard but some questions are very hard, do not waste too much time on the ones that u find the hardest to understand or u might end up with no time to complete the easy ones to atleast get the bare minimum marks.Also practice very well for reading from E2.

I just got my results! With only 10 days of prep I got overall band score 7.5! With 8.5 R, 8 L, 7 S, and 6.5 in R. It's unbelievable because in my mock tests I never scored above 7 for reading and in actual i got 8.5! Thankyou to these KZbin channels these were my only source of guidance!

@@nurafatemaalam6613 1.Do full time reading practice tests.(I recommend cambridge IELTS 11 and 12 preparation books) 2.If you saw match headings , summery or any question wich requires you to read most of the passages you should try to answer the questions that follows them while answering those question to save some time since if you did not do that you would have to reread the whole passage again. It worked for me so maybe it will work for you.Of course, you need to practice inorder to get used to it.

Got my ielts yesterday. I only prepared for 1 week by watching E2 IELTS videos , one or two practice questions and thats all. I got Reading-9, Listening-9, Speaking-7.5, Writing-7.5 I have the advantage of coming from an Anglophone country (Nigeria) where English is the official language though. IELTS is not that hard if you watch this channel and you are calm during the exam an treat all the questions like an everyday occurences..

@nanaakosua8570 after paying for the exams, you can have limited access unless you pay additional fees to access the full resources. However, I only use KZbin and take the practice questions in the videos I watch.

@@POCO-ik7bo I'm quite not sure what you asked. But I guess your query was, if there's any difference in the question pattern between online and paper-based exams. Well, the question's difficulty/easiness levels do not depend on online/ paper based. However, I found online exam easier because in the writing section, I got to edit my essays smoothly, could insert few lines in the paragraph while proof-reading etc. Also, In the online exam, the word count is shown below the screen, which is not possible through paper-based. Also, in the reading section, rather than typing the whole answer from the paragraph, I did copy paste from the question and put them in the blanks. So that saved me some time. But, I guess it all depends if you're comfortable in typing or writing.

Since I have this habit of reading out loud.
