A deceased man leaves behind a wife, two daughters, a mother and father. The wife receives ⅛. The two daughters share ⅔. The mother and father each get ⅙. Per the Quran’s math, the total combined is 1 ⅛. Oops.
@WalidsArtChannel3 жыл бұрын
@@sebpaeco6184 The inheritance law in Quran is a general ruling that could work for most cases where distribution is almost 1. No where in the Quran this specific restriction' which you seem to be imposing, is mentioned that the total combined should never exceed or fall short of 1. Your "Oops" would be valid had there been such a verse & we would have seen a mathematical contradiction. Prophet's dearest companion Ali solved this exceptional issue by the principle of Awl.

If you love yourself you should love Allah as he is the source of goodness and love. 5th pt: 26:33 allah is the most loving - al wadud, purest form of love. He doesn’t gain anything by loving us but yet he loves us. 6th pt: 31:31 worship is part of who we are. Our purpose in life is to worship Allah as we have an innate disposition to worship(know, love, obey, show gratitude the most to) 7th pt: 35:17 worthy of worship because he is worthy of our obedience. Obeying Allah and prophet(saw) grants us Allahs mercy. Just as we obey people with knowledge in our lives we should obey Allah as he has all knowledge and ultimate authority.

@syedsaad15945 жыл бұрын
Simple. Because HE's worthy and deserving of it. It's all a test to ascertain which of us (despite having freedom to obey or disobey) choose to recognize, obey and excel in doing righteous deeds (not that ALLAH doesn't know our nature, HE does. We'll only be judged on the basis of our ACTIONS and choices which we have the freedom to undertake). Same reason for which HE created life and death, as mentioned in Qur'an Chapter 67 verse 2. ALLAH wants us to know HIM (through attributes), which is the first step towards worship. Logic doesn't dictate that we start to worship, for example, a tree, since the tree's attributes does not make it worthy of being worshipped and praised. Same goes with every other creation (sun, moon, stars etc.).
@AhmedAli-ky5lz5 жыл бұрын
Creating us to worship Him does not mean that He needs our worship because we know Allah is the one who created us which means we are the ones who depend on Him. It would not make sense using our minds to think that He needs us because our creation gives Him absolutely no benefit. Worshipping Him means that we actually need Him and even if we choose not to worship Him we still need Him but we will not have any benefits afterwards. What is correct to say is Allah wants us to worship Him (Exalted is He) because that is what is right and we benefit greatly from it and need it. He is the Lord of everything that exists and we are His slaves. He is the master, the King and highest authority over all things. A doctor is an authority with limitations in medicine, a government is an authority with limitations over a population. We obey those authorities when we are sick, when we have problems in society. On the other hand Allah has no limits and is perfect in all aspects which makes Him the absolute authority. When He commands a thing, it is obeyed.

Of course God should be worshipped. There are so many, many things to be thankful. Many people keep a gratitude journal for everything you are thankful for. Your communion with God, God’s gifts of family friends, the earth to explore, the beauty of the world, for the loving people in your life, for the roof over your head, etc. Non-Muslims do in fact pray many times during the week, you may not have been aware of that.
