I love how much rhythmic possibility there is with the Finnish language! Consonants with pauses after them, long vowels and short vowels all in free variation :) If you had to do this in Swedish or Italian you would be forced by the strict patterns of those languages, but in Finnish, it's only the content of the lyrics that restricts your creativity :D

Wow, I'm so glad you didn't stop after showing the solo parts of the song and took your time to explain the arrangement, it's so interesting and hard to grasp, because lyrics never include it! The "tuki suus" and "korjoo luus" part is hilarious :) Also I wonder if the "polkkati" actually means anything, maybe it is a grammatical form of the word "polkka"?
@HanniAutere3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I also think that "tuki suus" and "korjoo luus" sounds hilarious. =) You are right, the word polkkati comes from polkka and I have no idea who invented it. But there just had to be a part that goes to the accompanying rhythm. =)

I knew this was gonna require some musical knowledge since you guys are singing different notes to form the chords in the accompanyment. I became a fan when I first saw you guys because of your musicality rather than the song itself My favorite part is that climbing chord that you and sari do towards the end. It feels like more than 3 voices singing because my mind doesn't realize that the new higher note is being replaced by a lower note. It just feels like new voices are adding higher notes to the chord. It always feels like magic
