Fun fact about Neil: he actually wrote a song for gravity falls! It ended up being cut due to issues with screen time, but it’s really good. Its called it’s gonna get weird, and i’d highly recommend looking it up if you’ve never heard it. Also based on your music taste I really think you’d like bearghost. They’re one of my favorite bands and they’re supposed to release a new album this summer. Update on the bearghost album for anyone that sees this and wants to listen to them: it’s supposed to come out september 22!!!

I loved this! Some suggestions for next time could be: The Crane Wives (they're an indie folk band with lots of themes in the romance/trust department.) Ratwyfe (I'm most familiar with their album Mushroom Melancholia) The Living Tombstone (Definitely a name many are familiar with if they grew up on the internet, the most familiar songs done by them to me are the FNAF ones so you could likely lean into a creepier theming for a character based on them.) The first one is really the only band, but this could be transformed into a series called, "turning musical artists into characters" or something like it.

Lemon Demon is my favourite artist of all time, Mother Mother is my second favourite though I'm currently listening to purely Lemon Demon atm. Dinosaurchestra is my favourite album, and some of my favourite songs are Lemon Demon, Archaeopteryx, Aurora Borealis, and Atomic Copper Claw. There's at least one track per album I absolutely adore. Honestly, after I watched this, I listened to Lemon Demon, and they're one of my favorite artists now. My favorite song is either Cabinet Man, because it reminds me of TV head cosplays and stuff, which I LOVE, or Fine, which I just think is really catchy.

If you make a part 2 for this video and want any suggestions, I would really want to see your character for the band Crystal Castles. They made nice electronic\witchtrap music back during the early 2010s with a lot of them having a really cool vibe that holds up really well today(the band's history HOWEVER is a completely different story entirely). I turned their song Crimewave into an oc but it would be COOL to see you turn the band itself into a character. EDIT: Thanks for the likes! ALSO I wanna say some other bands I would like to see in a continuation of this: Sohodolls (my sibling is OBSESSED with singing the chorus lol) MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS Miracle Musical Cults Grimes (I know she ain't a band but her songs have a unique vibe around them that would be cool to see your interpretation)

I definitely recognize the Mother Mother album art, but the only one of these bands that I've actually listened to was Lemon Demon -- I've probably had Everybody Likes You on loop for an unhealthy length of time back in 2022 lol (aw man potter puppet pals that takes me back) I definitely want to take your offer on doing my own version of this with my favorite bands because Crystal Castles immediately popped to mind and I feel like there's a lot of fertile ground for that band name + the vibe of their music >:3

This has gotta be one of my favorite videos of yours, and I'd definitely love to see a part 2! If you're up for suggestions, I'd love to see what you come up with for some of these bands if you're also a fan of any of them? • I really really love My Chemical Romance, The Cure, and Radiohead, and they all seem like pretty easy subjects for this task. • Queen would be a great one to accessorize with references, since they have so many iconic songs that could be easily represented visually. • I only know a few Stone Temple Pilots songs, but their name stood out to me as having a lot of potential for some crazy, like, ancient ruins that are actually spaceships on the inside? Like the kind that all those conspiracy nuts believe in lol • Cavetown could be cool for a no-character/environment-only one. • Mindless Self Indulgence sounds like it could be a trippy atmospheric piece, maybe some weird warped perspective? I'm kinda bummed that a couple of my favorite bands are basically inapplicable here.. I mean what could you even draw for, like, Oingo Boingo? Also I tried to think of something for The Beatles, and I just imagined four beetles with the Beatles' hairstyles/glasses slapped on with no other humanization. Someone's probably already done that but idk, I thought I'd share since it made me laugh c:
