Welcome to Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu! In today's episode, we have an in-depth and provocative conversation with our guest, Dave Rubin. From political power plays to personal reflections, this episode covers it all. Dave opens up about a near-death experience that changed his perspective, balancing fatherhood with professional commitments, and why he supports certain political figures over others.
We dive into the complexities of Biden’s cognitive decline and the media’s narrative control. Dave gives his candid views on the Democratic Party's pursuit of power, the implications of money printing, and the true cost of war. We explore the Israel-Palestine conflict, the foundational values of America, and the implications of immigration policies on national identity.
Dave also reveals his thoughts on potential presidential candidates, like RFK's impact on political dynamics, and offers a candid look at Trump’s achievements and faults. Adding depth to our discussion, we address the moral and ideological divides affecting the United States and dig into controversial topics, including diverse religious integration, socialism, and international politics.
Join us for a thought-provoking episode that challenges conventional wisdom and pushes the boundaries of political and cultural discourse. Don’t miss this episode where we confront the uncomfortable truths and explore the profound questions shaping our world today.

I watched a lecture by that scientist, and was terrified by what he failed to see from the incident with the companies troop…they ended up fully dependent on the scientists for food. All the alphas that were willing and able to go in search of new food sources died. The now matriarchal troop was unwilling to go in search of food and the scientists had to put them down when they left, because they were now dependent. So yes, you can change culture, but that culture may in fact kill the society. Shocking that a scientist missed this, but it seems to have contradicted what he thought was good, so his ignored it.

There's one more step in that money printing process that Tom didn't mention, and it's that those military-industrial companies then donate back to the politicians and parties that green light the wars, printing and spending. It's not money printing, it's money laundering.

I am absolutely amazed how Tom can’t grasp just the economic toll of adding millions and millions of people to social security, welfare, and the economic systems in our nation that illegal immigration has done. Housing shortage? 20M less people would help that. Minimum wage? Free markets would dictate a fair livable wage. Inflation? More people is more people spending money here. More competition for the same resources causes prices to rise. For such an insightful guy he hasn’t taken 1 moment to think sheer economics of illegal immigration.

The issue with Dave Rubin is that he wants to come off as a smart intellectual with valid ideas but everything he spoke about in this video was based off emotion, biased opinion, and just outright wrong facts. NOTHING he said about the economy was even remotely factual ("I see everything at the grocery store getting more expensive so it is definitely the presidents fault".... lol what?), EVERYTHING he said about Palestine was from emotion and biased opinion. He had very little knowledge of the reality of the political process and how policies work to change our system. He had ZERO clue about how interest rates and mortgages work. What was the point of this interview? To what purpose did it serve? There is nothing to walk away with here. There are no facts, no evidence, no new insights to work from and help us expand our worldview. I'm all for giving individuals with different opinions a platform if they come in with at least data, facts, and evidence to back their claims and opinions - but Dave Rubin is just a non-sympathetic, bigoted, ignorant man who acts like an intellectual but spews outright wrong opinions he claims as facts. Tom there is no insight to gain from these kind of guest. Please bring in people that can actually speak with facts, clarity, and evidence so at least we can all learn something.

Europeans built the U.S. It is a European state. The same group of people who say "defend ethnostate palestine" think that we should destroy everything that is based on European culture and values in USA while also mass importing people from other regions, e.g. people with NO past and no connection or desire to maintain the thing built by the "enemy ethnic group". Tom's already misrepresentation the argument. It's NOT about "unchecked immigration. It's about people coming here illegally and us doing nothing about it. Their VERY FIRST act coming here is to commit a crime. There is a "legal" process for people to become citizens so support and encourage that. As far as "asylum" goes, there is a very clear standard of what is considered reasons for seeking asylum and MANY of these people wouldn't qualify but we are just lumping them all in as asylum seekers but they aren't. If we paid for every American to drive back and forth across the country, you’d restore national identity in no time. At least offer a tax credit for it or something. We should be encouraging this 1000% for all Americans, but especially our younger people under 40. I’ve had the privilege of driving from California to New York, east coast, etc. 4 times and from East to west coast 4 times and two of those trips were there and back over a period of a few weeks. I’ve driven on many other long 1000 mile+ road trips in my life and this country is INCREDIBLE. The sheer beauty will lift your spirits and make your chest swell with pride. The great people everywhere who love and welcome you to their home cities and towns with open arms will make you realize we DO NOT HATE EACH OTHER! In fact it’s the opposite. Because most of us who are conservative love Trump and we love his policies and we don't understand what RFK's policies are the only thing I've heard him say and I do agree with most of what he says is that he's going to go after the pharmaceutical companies and that's great they are scam artists and they are burning all of us and the medical industry is so screwed up here but I have no idea how he thinks on geopolitics or other stuff the fact that he was a Democrat before scares me because the current Democrat policies are insane and I don't know how radical he's going to be towards these types of policies So no I wouldn't vote for him Trump is our guy He's been president before he has a track record of success his policies were outstanding and our country was way better off and a world was way better off when he was president let's say we get JFK and he does a great job on the pharmaceuticals but we end up in World war 3 cuz he doesn't know how to handle situations like Trump does

I watched this video until Dave expressed his gratitude of the guy killing an intruder and the John Wayne response of the police in Florida. I suggest that Dave stays in the US, as he clearly does not have a clue what is happening outside the US. I do not understand why Americans only think about themselves, first, before they consider other people. Let me be honest, that by judging US foreign policies and their 'superior' interference with other (to them lesser) people, is the one reason why I would never visit that country. Everything, simply feels, horrible and fake about the US. Even his support towards Israel - to the world as an uggly racist state - is unbelievable, considering all the horrors we have seen through social media. Why is it so difficult for Americans to try and live peaceful and in a co-orperative manner with other people on the planet? And what about the uggly attitude about immigrants? Are they not the people that are prepared to do jobs that the average American is too lazy or too important to do? Sad character, this Dave - but I like the way that you, Tom, engage people in trying to get some picture of what is going on. I suggest that the Americans should try and live a bit more amongst the people that they deem as lesser human beings, it would certainly open their minds.

I met with PA elected officials in Ramallah. They outright admited to our geop that we cant agree to any offer less than the enterity of what is Israel, Westbank and Gaza. They promissed this to their population. If they agree to anything less than that, due to honour rules, it will result in the decapitated heads of the elected PA elected officials. If Israel agrees to what the PA need to be able to save their lives as elected officials there will be no peace. PA officials have mot forgotten what happened to Gaddafi and Saddam. Its critical to understand that the only way to get respect in the middle east in any country is through negotiations through strengths. This is not the privileged environment of North America. Implementation of North American values in the middle east results in the destruction of Israel through prisoners dilemma. Lastly, because of Israel's perceived strength, the abraham acords was signed and the middle east would have been able to expand it with Saudi Arabia. P.s. Influencing pepole is great but its significantly higher up on the Maslow's hiarchy.

The lack of in-depth knowledge of the situation in France is very annoying. First of all, the interviewee confuses presidential and legislative elections. It's not Marine le Pen who's getting elected or not, it's her party's representatives in government. Second, there are extremely important aspects that he has no clue about, perhaps understandably because he doesn't live in France and doesn't have skin in the game - but then he should not be giving his uninformed opinion. Marine le Pen stated that there would be national preference for jobs and benefits, and even worse, that dual nationals would be excluded from key government posts. The problem is that the Rassemblement National's definition is so vast that it would include all French children of mixed marriages. Already there are approximately five million dual nationals in France who vote. Add to that number all the French nationals who are pure French but have offspring with someone with a different nationality so the child is a dual national ... do you realize how far this overt and over-the-top discrimination can go?

My father was Mexican and Apache by ethnicity. By his nationality was American. His family had lived in Santa Fe for 60+ years. They lived in a large house made from adobe. I went there twice. Because we did not live in New Mexico because my father was in the Army. When I was little it seemed like he was always gone... Germany, Korea, Viet Nam. My parents chose to locate in Washington state in Tacoma, which was next to a large Army base and an Air Force base. My father made it up to being a Sargent. He loved America fiercely. At the time...around 1971 I did not understand. I was being pulled by popular culture, which at the time was the hippie scene. So I saw my father as a relic holding people back from a free, beautiful, society built on free love, creativity, and the age of Aquarius. At around age 40 my values began to shift. I studied how "the West" was shown in books, films, comics, television. Being part Mexican and Apache I went through a period of anger at America. But much to my surprise I found myself seeing honor and integrity in many of John Wayne's characters. I began to see my father as maybe not so much of a relic. I remember his love of his cultures but also family, the armed forces and his beliefs. My father would not have tolerated the presence of so many illegal aliens. He would have seen it as such a disrespect of America and its values. Especially because the Border is implicated he would have been livid. And he was Mexican and Apache. I guess I lean to the right nowadays. But I have found doing the right thing, call it integrity has emerged as very important to me.

One thing I feel gets ignored frequently is why Israelis had any right to go into those lands in the first place. From my brief research into history, it appears that England basically tricked the locals into accepting them around WW1 timeframe, but it seems it was definitely not the Holocaust that caused them to show up there

@@pamela8644 you mean like the time they crossed the river, entering the land of Canaan and decimating numerous kingdoms, killing ALL people and living creatures in them? What's the term for killing an entire population? It makes me sick to think about it. Have modern Jews condemned these unspeakably horrific acts that are part of their scriptures? From their perspective, "Yahweh" told them to do it. From the perspective of anyone who survived their conquest of terror, they were true devils, destroying everyone in their path. On a side note, why are we all okay with people like Saul and David (and many others) with all their wives and concubines? I know that these were different times with different standards, but don't we know better today than to hold up people like that and study their words and actions as part of Scripture?

The ugly dichotomy of choice between two geriatrics comes down to this. The US constitution caters for a President who is temporarily or permanently incapacitated. The media version of temporary incapacity is 3 seconds, Biden has exceeded that on multiple occasions. You’re all familiar with what happens in the worst case scenarios in those instances. There are several precedents. What the US constitution doesn’t cover is criminal conduct by the President, especially one who is willing to stare it down. So when you say I don’t understand why people would vote for Biden it’s because they’re is a known worst case scenario outcome. Voting for a criminal does not have a known outcome? That is the choice Americans face, an unenviable task. Tom I’m a bit surprised, you understand money printing and the consequences of it. You know under Trump $8trillion was printed more than every previous president up to George W Bush combined and your blaming Biden for the inflation now? That’s completely illogical. Money printing is the problem, period. Quite frankly every single country’s leader during COVID should not ever be in public office again. Look at the base principles of quarantine which have been known and documented for hundreds years and you might understand how ridiculous the gorilla chest beating first responses were to an airborne virus. Tom you know how to dig deep and work from base principles. Shouting at clouds, yelling at advancing tanks is obviously stupid. Somehow when threat is an airborne virus everyone is blindly encouraged to put on their gorilla suits beat chest and fight off airborne virus with sheer stubborn determination. It is completely nuts and has zero scientific basis. You are better than that. In spite of those easily correctable flaws in your logic, I do love your work and I thank you for it. 👏👏👏👏

On Islamic migration to Europe, the issue is that Islam is an ideology that is mostly incompatible with western democracy and completely intolerant of other religions or ideas that conflict with Islam. When you import millions of people who have these beliefs, you are playing with fire. This is not to say that there aren't many peace loving moderate muslims who appreciate western culture and life in the west. The problems begin when the Islamic population grows due to immigration and birth rate. At a certain point westerners realize they are sharing their countries with a majority who see them as infidels, non-believers and by this point it is too late.

Exactly, saying Biden caused inflation is so wrong, it was years in the making due to very low interest rates to stimulate the economy after the great recession of 2008 and then the absurd stimulus of money given out during Covid that lit the inflation flame. I hate when politicians blame each other for something the other person has no control over.

@@Biffer28 All aggregate inflation is a direct result of the amount of currency available. Govt. printing is a large part of this problem. Is it Biden's fault? Not any more his fault than the rest of congress voting for borrowing more currency. But this isn't the only way currency gets created. Any person/business that goes to a bank and seeks a loan is also creating currency through the fractional reserve banking principals. So, anyone who's in debt to a bank, should look in the mirror and recognize that they are part of the problem too.
