Whoever made this video obviously hasn't played a Mario or Sonic game in 30 years, if ever. For one, Sonic's "big thing" is NOT that he can't touch spikes. You're thinking of that OTHER blue video game hero, Mega Man. Sonic reacts to spikes the same way he reacts to fire, acid, and machine guns to the face... by dropping rings. If Sonic has a big instant-death weakness it's drowning. For two, while the Koopa Clown Car is Bowser's go-to vehicle, the specific bit where he fights by sitting in it and throwing Mechakoopas has only happened once - in 1990's Super Mario World (which is where the "30 years" comes from). If you were real gamers, you'd know that. You'd also know that using the fact that he's covered in spikes to his advantage IS something Bowser has done... in fact, that was his thing is the very first Super Mario game - you couldn't jump on him because spikes. You had to use fireballs OR jump over him and drop the bridge. Actually, Mario and Sonic would do pretty well facing the other's nemesis, because they both defeat enemies in literally the exact same way - by jumping on their head. Actually, I take that back. Robotnik would defeat Mario by forcing him to take on Sonic's famous corkscrew runs and loop-the-loops, which Mario can't do. Bowser would defeat Sonic by forcing him through one of Mario's underwater levels, since Mario can swim and hold his breath forever (except in SM64) and Sonic can't. THAT would be funny and actually accurate. Maybe you guys should just stop making content about video games, since you've obviously never actually played one. Fake nerds.

Mate. Sonic's only ability to deal damage in this game requires you to make contact with your enemy. And when your enemy is literally a giant walking spike rack that damages you, you're kinda fucked. Whilst Mario's method of dealing damage to bosses often requires your enemy to literally drop or release objects that often allow Mario to repurpose them in order to deal damage. But robotnik doesn't do that stupid shit, not to mention he fucking flies so you can't just jump on him or throw fireballs. So, Mario is also fucked.

I love how Mario chose to completely undersell himself, when in every other video he’s basically full of himself, bored, or paranoid. I seem to recall catching a glimpse of a show once years ago, can't recall which one, but I think the idea was (at least in part) that vampires were real and had decided as a global community to (re-?)reveal themselves to the world. In line with that, national representatives of the world's vampire communities were giving interviews, and the reporter interviewing the American vampire lady wanted to know how accurate our pop-culture idea of vampiric strengths and weaknesses was, something like "Could you be killed by, like, garlic, or a stake to the heart?" The vampire lady just sort of chuckled and said, "Well, a _stake to the heart_ would kill just about _anyone,_ don't you think?"
