It can't be anime. If Dark Souls was anime it would spend forty minutes telling you all about what Siegmeyer had for freaking breakfast last Tuesday and then have a half dozen flashbacks about it. Where anime drowns you in needless hyperdrama and exposition dumps, Dark Souls tells you sweet fuck all and lets you run through the game until you find Solaire corrupted by the sunlight maggot because you fucked up and are left to fight him while pleading "no, no! It wasn't supposed to be like this!" Anime tells you what you're supposed to feel. Dark Souls MAKES you feel.

But then solaire will let live 1 waifu...your favorite one...after raping her in front of you, he will leave her amnesiac, with the mentality of a toddler and scared of you forever. You only manage to survive thanks to the thorns knight coming in and saving you and your traumatized waifu with his magic thorn sword which can open portals thanks to him eating the red eye orbs which grant him powers over space time similar to the now five kings. After that you get your giant greatsword, get your artorias armor and embark on a journey to save your waifu and get revenge on your ex best friend solaire.

Sweeevil Jones the combat system is, as I called it, "bloodborne on crack with jumping and bullethell" I don't understand how the game is "anime"? it's a completely different artstyle, none of the environments look in any way "Japanese", the only "Japanese" thing is that the starting weapons of the characters look like Katanas (the real question is why these two are literally the only two without standard YoRHa weapons).
