I listened to a 1/4 of this, and it's sickening, to say the least. Poor pitiful him. He did everything in the relationship. He made the money, and she had the temper. She was hard to deal with. He goes on and on. He was a control freak when it came to her and felt like she owed him for all he had done. She was so hard to deal with by his story. Wish we could hear Nicole's story.

Yep, just a litany of lies. Take the earring incident, for example. It’s well known OJ had many mistresses (of which I’m certain he doesn’t mention 1 in this fantasy) and no doubt he did buy those earrings for one of his mistresses. I tapped out after that one.

Her entire family knew he was abusive to her before they ever got married. I'm sorry but in my opinion they seen dollar signs. No 18-year-old should be dating a man that's damn near 30. And BS on Oj saying he talked her into becoming an interior designer. He went off on her when she told him she wanted to go to school for that. He wouldn't even let her finish her first year in college because he wanted her with him 24/7. I for one am glad the juice has expired

Part of the problem is, in my opinion, that in Hollywood movies, women are excused if they express minor violence with a man. For example, we still see movies where a woman slaps a man's face if she has been disrespected by him. I don't mean punching or deliberately trying to hurt a man, or use of a weapon, but an open palmed slap. In some movies, it is even seen as funny, and the man, if he is a decent, noble type, will just stay calm, and if he is really humble, he will say "I deserved that". Maybe it is a sort of evolutionary reward for women bearing children and suffering a lot of pain, so they are excused a few outbursts now and then. In the scenario OJ describes, however, he did not react calmly or humbly at all to Nicole's temper. He is/was a trained athlete and had a knee jerk reaction, returning violence with violence. And that set up a cycle of resentment and vengeance.

When this episode first happened I was talking to my B.F.F. and she said to me he did it. O. J. loved Nicole although it was unhealthy but still it was their affair. I feel now if he did not do it he knows who did. Women of domestic violence know the type. What I do not understand is why and how did it fall apart the way it did.
@nishamack586
@nishamack586 2 ай бұрын
I believe Nicole would have been either borderline, or bipolar. She did not deserve to die. The thing is when you are inside of domestic violence ( which I believe they both were toxic) It usually ends badly. Nicole was not your typical " battered " spouse. She had resources. Her hitting her employees, and tryna beat the IRS speaks to what kind of person she was. She played a game with him and lost. So many of us mothers sacrifice ourselves for our family. She complained about giving half of her life to him and her kids. She wanted freedom. where did she have time to party with Faye, and be friendly with Ron, with small children? Seemingly she wanted it both ways.
