Excellent video!! This is exactly how to do it!! Ignore the haters - I'm a parent to 2 toddlers, work a 9-6 Mon-Fri and what you set out is exactly how I run my ebay business. Photo/List/Pack in the evening from 9pm to 11pm. Hit the post office on my lunch break at work, and source at the weekends. With the extra income we were able to upgrade our car and also take the kids on a family holiday. Totally worth it

Thank you so much for this information. I kind of jumped into this a few days ago after watching a couple guys build an ebay business from $10 to a $6000 revenue and $11000 inventory in 3 months only working 10 hours per week. I'm starting with tons of junk and have been listing 5/day and looking forward to start sourcing and this video gave me some confidence to try and be focused like warren buffet. This will be a side hustle so all profit goes straight back into sourcing at least until it grows to something sustainable.

This was fantastic, Matt. I’ve been about a 1/4 time eBay seller the past few years since I got into real estate. I have one personal loan and a credit card that I want to pay off. After watching your video I’ve decided to crank it up on eBay again and create a plan to get those fully paid off within a year solely using eBay income. This way I can devote my real estate commissions to other investments and my daily living expenses. Thanks for the inspiration!

initially I don't think you need a store but once you grow to 100+ active listings I think having a store has it's perks. If you look at the opportunity of having a store will generate more sales that $27.95 cost takes care of itself. The big perk is store promotion i think. Running a sale.. but you need a few items in store to be able to do that effectively! Also, thanks for joining as a new member, that's so cool to have you a part of the group!

About the other store, starting from scratch. Why would you listen to people in the comments hating on it. That was a great series, so good to see a store started from scratch. Please revisit that series and carry on with it. There’s a lot of sellers, seasoned sellers - my self included- who still have the mindset of buy it- list it, no matter what it is, but also, on the flip side, if I was to start again, with £50 ($100 au) what would I buy. So let me use my life as an example of why this isn’t as simple as it sounds. I get up at 5:30am because I start work at 7. No time in the morning for ebaying. Work all day, half hour lunch, can’t get to a post office get food and get back to work in half an hour. Get home at 4:30. Kids go to sport training. Kids need dinner. Clothes need to be washed. Dog needs to be walked. Kids need help with homework. In bed at 9pm. Weekends up at crack of dawn because kids play sports. House needs to be cleaned. Groceries. Food prep. Kids take time and energy. The schedule you listed means neglecting your kids and ignoring them for a year lol Not to mention most people who need to sell on EBay don’t have thousands of $$ to source the $35 x $50 items they need to list in the first place. You just don’t realise how much easier life is without kids and how much spare time you actually have.
