Oh...you barely got through high school, you're a 6 out of 10 on your best day looks wise and the wardrobe you threw in your backpack was mostly shorts, sweatpants and tshirts. Go. Honestly, trades businesses are some of the best service based models you can do. Take electrical, plumbing, or HVAC (heating and air conditioning). Those are services that people will always need, that will never go out of demand, that are highly specialized and very profitable businesses to start. There’s also not as much competition as you might expect. Around our area, we have like three main plumbing companies. One of those three just keeps buying out all the competing businesses. And if you don’t actually want to start a business, you have the skills that allow you to go anywhere in the world, and easily find work. If I could go back, I’d probably end up going to trades school rather than university.
