I'm so glad I could see them live in concert in my home town. The venue had to set up about one or two hundred chairs on stage (to accommodate the sell-out audience) behind the performers. I sat behind them during the performance, and I was thrilled! Their first album was the first album I ever bought. I still love them.

I was a teenager when this song was released. It was my favorite and still is today. I think it was unfortunately underrated at the time but interestingly even pertinent and meaningful still today.

I saw the Trio from 1964 in their heyday From Carnegie Hall to Peace Marches Up until Mary’s passing.

They were already established as both folk and protest singers when I discovered them in the mid 60s. They stayed popular through the "British Invasion " and rock n roll. If Mary had not gotten cancer I feel sure they would still be performing. I sang their songs to my little brother born in the 60s and even to successive daycare kids through the 90s. Every single child wanted to learn how to make the pop sound for Marvelous Toy. I taught them that too. If I am ever blessed with grandchildren they will hear so many of the songs too
