Kinda like the whole thing where everyone collectively decided to hate Tori from Victorious because her biggest sin was that she wasn't as good as everyone else.

It just leaves abe kinda empty and the abuse on the characters everyone loves from his stupidity rly makes it hard to feel for him. I think the writers wouldve kept joan and jfk together in all honesty, if the show continued when it should have, and abe wouldve had an arc about developing himself a bit more. He wouldnt get cleo or joan and hed have to look at himself, maybe some comical emo phase episode to try to get joans attention or the like, and eventually he would be able to move on himself.

Abe isn't a bad character because he was oblivious to Joan's feelings. It's because he's shallow and didn't start liking her until she dressed up. That being said it's okay for him not to be attracted to her, he shouldn't feel obligated to like her because she likes him. I think sometimes we forget that maybe, just maybe he really only sees her as a friend, which is fine. I don't ship them and I don't really get why she likes him with how rude he is when he falls under peer pressure. Infact I don't think she ever says why she likes him. Does she?
