Seth was a youngster, threw a fit and left the team. It was a learning moment for someone that was very much still a kid. Hecz has taken a lot of trash talk for keeping Boze around, but Boze is the unsung hero of Optic. He’s the glue that held Optic together through a lot of people and situations. Nade was the biggest star in COD and Scump was the best player in COD. It is a miracle that duo held together for so long. But it did. Optic wouldn’t be what it was then or is now if it wasn’t for those three guys.

That team was so well rounded, Nadeshot was Lowkey best SnD player in ghosts no lie, proofy shot was electric, Scump was the route man piecing fools good 1-2 punch with proofy, and clayster was holding it down with the best ARs in the game. We beat EG let’s goooo! X Games gold medalist !

This is from a outside perspective but isn’t it funny/wierd how scump who is now the poster child of the optic brand, left the team in a point of frustration and joined Hector’s rivals at the time team envy and he joins back and everything is forgiven for his betrayal and backstabbing and just shoved back into the limelight while nade who loyal since the beginning and who arguably made optic the name it was since nades probably the most known esport player in the cod scene, always got second place to scump? Imagine how nade felt to give hector his 200% and scump still be the favorite and flash forward to when nade wanted a higher position in the company and hector rejected him so nade had enough and left, but scump is now a officially part owner of optic? Like Ik I’m reading too much into it but that’s just not fair at all

Nade not getting a piece of OpTic is criminal. If i was Nade i would never trust Hecz ever again. Being friendly and all that? Yeah, but i'd never fully trust him. Shit, major props to Nade for even burying the hatchet and being friendly with Hecz again, Nade's a bigger man than most for that. And yeah, ppl forget that Nade was the most popular Cod player for like 4 years in the row, right until he retired. Nade had higher viewership than Scump, higher social media following on all platforms, etc. Actually i think the reason why Scump changed his mind on going back to Optic was because his viewership actually took a hit after leaving Optic for that short period of time. And Nade picking up Clay was major too. I still remember Aches posting a pic from Nade's vlog where he explains the situation with Scump and Nade is sitting at his desk at the OG optic house streaming room where everyone had their set ups, and all those seats were empty except for Nades. So Aches posted a pic of that with tomb stones chilling in every empty seat. My favorite cod season ever, even if the game wasn't the most fun to play.

I agree with everything you said. However, i believe it motivated nadeshot to do the great things he has done. Revenge is the best motivator. And look at nade now, bigger than he ever could have been with optic imho. He may not be as big in viewership, but he created 100T and has left a permanent mark on the COD scene. One that can never be removed.

If nade didn’t stop competing and leave to make his own brand he would 100% have ownership in optic right now. We all gotta remember during ghosts and AW the scene wasn’t fresh but it was still in its infancy. Blops 2 jumpstarted it and brought in a lot of fans but the dynasty starting in AW is what made optic the face of cod for over a decade instead of it being optic and faze. It was just too early in optics life and in the scenes life in general to ask for ownership in a company like that, especially when it was H3CZ who was always about not wanting to give anything up. I do think the whole situation of optic being sold and stuff like that and now having to take in investors in order to get a spot in the CDL changed Hecz’s views on everything. Plus I mean, Scump has been a part of optic for almost triple the time nade ever was and followed Hecz after optic got sold. I still remember watching everyone back then and hecz treated Scump and Nade in the same light, nade was clearly lacking on a lot of the previous teams before he left and hecz never once dropped him or anything like that so it’s also crazy to try and paint him like he’s never had a loyalty toward nade either.

It would be tough being bossed around by Nade he used to be fairly aggressive and tell people what to do on the team, Scump was kinda made the bitch of the team like taking bomb and playing defence on Blitz for example so Nade could make plays despite Nade supposedly being the OBJ when Scump was arguably the best player in the game and at points Nade was playing so bad that without a following he wouldn't have been on a pro team. I can see why Scump wasn't happy playing with him. It was fun to watch back in the day though.
