It started out being the only search engine that didn't prioritize ads, then once that gave it the popularity to gain a monopoly on search engines, it started prioritizing ads to an obnoxious degree because what other search engine are fed-up searchers going to use instead?

I've been using Trade for a while and it is pretty great. They recently raised their prices across the board which sucks, but people who had a preexisting subscription didn't get hit with too much of a price increase. The coffee is good tho and it's nice to know its ethical

worst part is the excuse KZbin gives you for why they wont make it clear what rules your violating. essentially they argue that if they do make their rules clear people will find a way "around" them. in other words if they make the rules clear people will follow the rules.

Or you could just do what SML does every now and then. Just create a new channel. I don’t know do whatever you feel like. Lol.

Dude this is too relatable. I got a strike like 2 weeks ago on my stream for Hate Speech when I was just playing Dead by Daylight with my friends. All we talked about was the game, and then when I reviewed the footage where they were supposed to tell me where the issue was, there was nothing. No time to click on, nothing listed, nothing. I STILL have no idea why they striked me.

After getting my youtube channel teminated for no reason for "scams, spams, and deceptive practices" this is very accurate. Especially after having my appeal denied, reaching out to youtube on twitter to try and get an answer on what video SPECIFICALLY may of gotten me banned and then getting absolutely no answer. Even worse, this channel was 90% dead and was just used for me to upload personal little videos.

KZbin isn't making all the rules. They have to obey COPPA, which is also very vague. They can get in trouble for keeping basically any information at all on videos that are "for children" even if they're not marked as such but follow some vaguely defined rules for how to tell if it's for children. Also, they aren't allowed to actually check if children are watching because they can't record that information.

Good to see you are in Odysee, i put notifications there, since it actually works and their bugs are less obnoxious than the ones in the youtube app, sometimes i can't do anything, like minimizing the video in the youtube app, in contrast in odysee it just goes to the side instead of where it should, is annoying, but is not a deal breaker, so I am just gathering the good channels and then bye youtube, for music there is soundcloud, it actually has probably more music than youtube because it is geared towards small creators, I am going to check if nico collins is there now.
