HILARIOUS, but that's nothing new with this guy's vids. There's a cool probability-based analysis of this that actually proves the existence of the lay-pay constant. Assume that the patient pays $"d" for a "p" chance of dunkin' a donut, and assume that the patient KEEPS paying that $d amount till he hits the jackpot. The expected number of times that he'd pay that amount of "d" dollars is given by the following infinite sum; S=(1*p) + (2*q*p) + (3*q^2*p)+ ... where q=1-p. This sum evaluates to 1/p. This means that, on average, the patient spends $(d/p) for a probability of "p". It's easy to see that the product of the (average) money spent and the probability of firing his photon torpedo is a constant. Of course, this analysis assume that the whole process is memoryless and that each trial is completely independent from all the preceeding trials.
