It is like their minds only equate Japanese games with "anime," when Japanese games dominated the post-crash scene up until the PS3/360 era. I think the worst of it though are the journalists who hate Japanese games, but will dickride From games for clout and because "they don't look Japanese," despite the design risks that From took would NEVER have been taken by a Western developer at the time.

I would like to see a Saints' Row game set in Japan, too! My favorite missions and storyline from Saints' Row 2 were The Ronin missions. I especially enjoyed the sword fights once I figured out how they worked lol I actually thought Junichi was a pretty cool character because he wasn't really in it for himself and was a loyal servant and right-hand man to Akuji and his father, probably like the son the leader (I forget his name) always wanted instead of Akuji.
