I really enjoy these videos you make. I love how all your creations have a similar aesthetic. I also appreciate how your videos aren't longer than they need to be.

Great idea. This is definitely something I'm in need of. Traditional peg board is too fragile and the metal kits are too limited and expensive. I like the style too, I think it will help convince people I know what I'm doing with woodworking!
@Aribabox Жыл бұрын
Thank you! That's true about the traditional pegboard walls. This is a great alternative that will allow you to turn some of your offcuts into new pegboard wall attachments with no additional costs. And we hope having a pegboard wall like this in your workshop will help build your credibility as a woodworker.

@@Aribabox got the plans, very detailed, thank you! I'm planning to span most of my wall and I'd like for all the panels to mount to the studs at 16" on center. Ideally maximize the 48"x96" plywood, I think the best size panels for stud width, sheet size, AND machine size to be 24"x32". 6 peg boards per sheet. Would need to create a "pegboard distancer" that spans the gap between 2 pegboards and hits the stud in the middle.
@Aribabox Жыл бұрын
@@HiHoWillyO Glad you like the plans. And the pegboard dimensions you suggest make a lot of sense in your situation. We could adjust the pegboard panels to be 32" x 24". However, we would also have to change the distance between the panel holes (the Philips's head screw-shaped cuts). Therefore we would also have to modify all of the attachments. It's doable, just would require a lot of time for us to get that done. Considering all of that, we have a proposal to add horizontal planks to the vertical studs. The horizontal planks would be perfect for attaching the pegboard panels. And they would be strong enough to hold the pegboard with all of the attachments and tools. What do you think?

Ive just made a similar one of these and the best attachment I've made is a tape dispenser. I'd like to see your take on a tape dispenser!

Thank you for the great idea. In our latest video we made a simple tape holder - kzbin.info/www/bejne/raXXo5WXjaibnrc

Really love the way these look! It would be really easy to add some small attachments to the sides of each of these shelves/boxes since it is already space you don't use (unless you change up the location of the hook to be in a bit and not on the ends). They could only be as deep as the space between shelves, but that is enough for a lot of stuff... Maybe tape measures, on the end of drill chargers add the battery chargers screwed to side, magnetic bars with chisels or screwdrivers or etc, other measuring tools, larger sheets of sandpaper, etc. so many options for the wasted space and still looks good. Thanks for sharing! New to your channel and subbing!

Thank you for the feedback! Adding more attachments to the larger cabinets is a great idea. We might update the design for that in the future. And thank you for subscribing! Welcome to the channel!

Nice idea for replacing the traditional french clips, also, this CNC build is very interesting, where can I get this plan?

Thank you, glad you like it! The files for the Pegboard project are available on our website - aribabox.com However, the CNC isn't a custom build. We purchased the set from Onefinity CNC.

Wow really love this project! Would love to purchase these plans as I think it'd be a great project as a beginner with my CNC, but I am worried about breaking bits and cutting time with using a 1/8" bit. I know you mention in your order page about adjusting plans based on actual plywood thickness, which is amazing as I live in Canada where we mostly use imperial units, but are these plans available for cutting with a 1/4" endmill? Thank you!
@Aribabox Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Glad you like it! That is true - cutting the project using the 1/8 bit took longer than it would have if using the 1/4 inch bit. The current files on our website are for a 1/8 inch bit, but we could adjust them so you could use a 1/4 bit.
@LarsDunemark Жыл бұрын
Great video, question about the depth of cut bit size when you cut 18mm plywood, are you using 6mm or 3mm bit in that cut and at which depth? Just broke some 1/8" bit last time so mostly interested in to see what other people use for speed and feeds.
@Aribabox Жыл бұрын
Thank you! When cutting the 18 mm sheet, we used a 1/4 inch bit. And we made three passes per contour. To learn more about the feeds and speeds, we can recommend checking out @cutting-it-close KZbin channel. They have great videos on this subject.
@LarsDunemark Жыл бұрын
@@Aribabox thanks will check it out, reason I asked is because I hälso have an Onefinity (woodworker x35) with the Makita router. It can keep quite good speed but it always sad to loss a bit in the middle of a cut.
@Aribabox Жыл бұрын
@@LarsDunemark We had the same problem when cutting our first projects on the CNC. And it turned out there is a formula to calculate the feeds and speeds for each type of material and router bit diameter. The @cutting-it-close guys had made a spreadsheet that helps to do the calculations and avoid breaking the bits. You can find the download link for the spreadsheet under this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hIucfKJsZ6yWgMk

What quality of plywood do you use? And how much does it cost where you live?
@Aribabox8 ай бұрын
We mostly use B/BB quality plywood. Depending on the thickness of the sheet it can go for 50 to 80 EUR per sheet, here in Latvia.
