For true equality potential fathers must have the right to financial abortions. Here's how it would work. If a pregnant woman wanted child support from a potential father she would have to notify him before the child was born. He would have a right to opt-in or opt-out. If he opts-out he has no financial obligations once the potential child becomes a real child, but he also has no rights. The beauty of this system is that everyone gains without anyone being harmed. Men have equal rights to bodily autonomy (no more slaving for 18 years to pay for a child they didn't choose to have), pregnant women get clarity, and the fetuses can't be harmed because they are not legal people.
