For me, it started with Zumba. But i had trouble staying consistent because I had to follow a specific schedule which didnt work for my lifestyle. Then I tried the gym. I enjoyed it, but it does get boring eventually. I really started to enjoy working out once I started biking as my main way to travel, and ESPECIALLY when I started latin dance. It adds a lot of social to the mix. So I get to see my friends AND listening to music, AND exercise AND discovering a new culture AND practicing my spanish AND feel like I'm partying all at once. I can dance for 5 hours and not even realize it. I just love love love it. Y'all, for real, you WILL find an exercise that you like you just have to TRY THINGS

I can understand restaurants, but as expensive as things are, I don't go out to restaurants often and go on vacation like once a year. And I don't really count travelling to another city in my province as vacation. yes it's a trip but I try to be mindful of what I'm eating. Flying across the world? Nah, eff that, I'll enjoy my food.

I watched a lot of such videos in my life. And I have to say, that this is one of the best I've every seen. Like, it is actually what you also need to do to lose weight in the first place. But the difference is that if you lose weight it is the journey to form those habits over many months, and not in a short period of time. And the result is the weight loss. And when you get there, you need to mentain. I love it❤ Basically slim people are not slim because of genetics but because they practice surtain habits. Lot of those habits. And losing weight has no secret, it is just realizing that you need to change your lifestyle, give up things and replace them with better things and realizing that it take it 8 - 16 months to adapt new habits. But if you say it like that, companys don't get the money, sooo. Yeah, if one realize all that and than watch your video. There is nothing that can stop them apart from wanting results in months not years, not staying consistant and overall pushing to much.

I see a bunch of influencers online who claimed that you should be able to have a dessert every day. It’s easier for me if I just don’t buy it or keep it at home.

I personally really disagree with the whole mindset concerning sweet treats. You should absolutely not make sweet treats something you can’t have everyday. You can absolutely have them, just make sure that when they are being served, they are served small so it is easier to listen to yourself when you are full. Another important point is the learn to make the “junk food” at home. I have sweet foods every single day because I crave them. But I don’t buy the store junk food. I make it and I serve the size I think is appropriate. When you limit yourself from having sweet foods, YOU WILL CRAVE THEM MORE! Forbidden fruit is the best..

@naomee2 ай бұрын
I'll make a more detailed video on this but I basically figured out that I have a gluten sensitivity. So I no longer eat things with flour like bread, pasta, etc. I basically only eat rice or potatoes as my carb source. Also I cut out all processed foods (rule of thumb is only eat fruits, veggies, meats, eggs, fermented foods, dairy if you are not lactose intolerant AKA minimally altered foods). I also don't have protein powder because it makes me inflamed (probably because it is a very processed food). And I eat a large variety of veggies every day and don't overdue it with carbs. This advice could be slightly different for everyone! For example my brother can't have dairy but I have no issues with dairy. Try the elimination diet to figure out what specific foods you are intolerant to.

Are you talking about concentrated prepackaged juices? Or natural juices from juicing?
@naomee2 ай бұрын
I'm talking about all juices! Concentrated packaged juices are definitely worse since they have extra preservatives and chemicals in there, but even juicing fruit at home is not the best since you are tossing the fibre and only consuming the sugars and water from the fruit. And when you juice fruit, you are using A LOT of fruit to get just 1 glass of juice, which means you are consuming a lot more calories than is possible if you just eat the fruit. A juice now and then as a treat doesn't hurt, but I definitely wouldn't consider it healthy. Always best to eat the whole fruit the way nature intended!
@heytheredelilah162 ай бұрын
@@naomee we juice the whole fruit along with a combo of fruits. So while I agree eat the fruit. I disagree in thinking you don’t get any of the fiber. You would have to really really strain the fruit to get it smooth.
