I will put Mine as well in a blender for about 20 seconds or so. Almost make it like a flour consistency. And then I will precook the oatmeal , cook it with milk. And then put it in appropriate smoothie. Essentially baby food but it keeps me full.

@@smellmyfingification I think it would depend on how you feel about the curds. Personally, my favorite part of eating cottage cheese is biting into the curds. I'm in a snit at the moment because my regular grocery store stopped carrying large curd cottage cheese, so I either have to buy it elsewhere, or settle for small curd, which I think has less flavor. Blending it would completely ruin it for me, but to each their own, I guess.

@@j.g.3453 I blended cottage cheese for my baby so it’s easier for him to eat. You can also use it for dips too. But my mom loves curds lol she’s also upset when she can’t get large curd options

@@strawberrycherrybaby That makes sense. For me, it makes a difference because I don't use cottage cheese in recipes, I just eat it straight with a little salt and pepper. If I'm going to use something like that in a recipe, it's easier to just substitute something like ricotta, which is already one uniform texture. That being said, I'll admit I'm not one for fads when it comes to food, and I tend to prefer my food simple and filling. I do like seeing people enjoy different foods in different ways though, even if it's not my cup of tea.

Tip; there’s already shredded oats getting sold, which are way better. Blended oats taste very “wheaty” if that makes sense

When you blend foods you destroy their insoluble fiber, which in the case of oats is one of the primary nutrients they’re supposed to provide. They’re much better consumed whole and unblended.

Just get quick/instant oats. They're pre blended, essentially. It's what makes them cook faster.

I'm not sure why people are gaslighting others into believing raw, dry, starchy soaked and soggy oats are better than cooked oats. All you're doing is contributing to a swollen abdomen because raw oats can retain A TON of moisture before it even begins to break down. Imagine a sponge in your belly with a non-stop capacity to swell, the more you add water to it. Overnight oats aren't it folks, and it tastes disgusting. Cook your oats, and for more than 5 minutes. Oats are supposed to be slimy. COOK THEM UNTIL THEY'RE SLIMY. Otherwise you're taking in more carbohydrates and less of the fiber that oats supply. Your gut will thank you.
