@@quq_CCCP вот чисто теоретически,пара трения там разве работает на сухую? Теоретически между поверхностями маслянная пленка трения прямого нет вроде а так сжирает обычно когда на сухую работает либо с выжранным маслом масложором либо проблемами с его подачей туда Во всяком случае я такие износы видел КАЛЕНЫХ поверхностей только там где масло не поступало либо катались на эмульсии Никто ен спорит что метод колхоз но работать теретиески бдет

@@AndreyLaran хм, там пока дойдёт масло в нужном количестве, таи уже износ пойдёт, сыромятины, то все забывают что маслянная плёнка там без постоянной подачи масла стерается за 1 оборот, потом даже хорошо закалённое и обработанные стираются, ибо трение там есть как не крути.

He’s OXY acetylene welding. The camshaft is cast iron and from the looks of it he’s using broken pieces of a cast iron cylinder liner as the filler metal for welding which makes sense because cylinder liners and camshaft are made from cast iron with graphite in it called gray cast iron.

@@user-yj2ew4xc4i рспред скажем так на 6000об делает 3000об на3000 об каленый металл сухо трется когда без масляной пленки сколько часов выдержит относительно наваренного где между парами трения всегда есть маслянная пленка? Чисто теоретически-я дурак и думал всегда что межды таки поверхностями всегда есть мало и прямого трения нет ну или почти всегда И если в экстрим режимах не пашет оно то теретически нарвое пофиг сильно каленое или слабо если оно все равно друг по другу не трется

That's a smart idea to re-build a cam, guess you do the same with the rocker arms? The emery strip polishing is pretty much exactly what I was doing 40+ years ago (only using a drill motor) to polish the rust out of main-stand pivots on many different motorcycles (the roads are salted in wintertime to get rid of ice) Quite a few needed frame repair as the seized pivot would not move in stand but in frame

looks good to the naked eye , but if measured would be out of spec everywhere , you cant do precise work by hand lol

I'm not expert , but have similar thought . It looks nice ,but the angle when the valve start to open and close cannot be the same as original . To do this , you would need specific tools for this type of camshaft, to have correct angle . Cannot be done with naked eye .There is also issues with overheating camshaft when welding ,and what type of steal you are using , there should be final hardening before polish . Maybe i'm talking nonsense ,as I sad I'm no expert . But I know that there are few company in my country that can do that job , only few .
