Anyone who thinks they can “buy” your friendship isn’t a true friend. Money or expensive
gifts cannot buy genuine love, care, and support. Those are invaluable aspects of a great
friendship that only comes from true commitment. Money can be used to fix temporary issues or
buy momentary enjoyment, but it can’t guarantee true satisfaction and fulfillment in your life.
Lastly, when you realize that a certain friend is taking advantage of you, it may be difficult to put
up boundaries and painful if you have to part ways altogether. It is especially hard to do so if
that friend has been in your life for a long time or played a big role in your experience growing
up. But just like any type of relationship, you can’t measure its value purely based on its
duration. Someone can be present in your life for 10 years but cause nothing but damage and
pain to you, while someone else can enter your life and fill it with so much light and positivity in
a mere matter of weeks. Take notice of how someone affects you. While it may be hard to let go
of someone who has been in your life for years, remember that you have the power to choose
who to allow into your life and affect your experiences for the better or the worse.

That's what I call a conditional or transactional relationship. That ''I did something for you so you owe me'' kind of dynamic. That kind of friendship is never sustainable and only ever results in conflict and ultimate fallout, especially when one of the people involved are keeping tabs on everything.

When I am in depression when i needed my friends most they left me and to this time they never texted me ,they mocked me how i look and they called me egoist when i did my absolute best for them.They used me like a tissue paper . to those whoever reading this do not leave your true friend because it is very rare to get a true friend who stays with you even in your roles . This is soo true.in friendship Day I gave my group a card and everybody gave me nice gifts they all faked smile and said just a card?but my bff was rlly happy and told we can buy a cake after class(she gave me two gifts) But sadly we splitter,we read in different schools and our homes r rlly far away.we still talk in online but didn't met eachother in flesh for a whole year.
