I am so very sorry for your loss, but I think the giving of letters/gifts to someone after their loved one has passed away is an incredible way to remember just how much they loved you. I hope that brings you comfort ❤️❤️ I will be turning 45 in about two months. I lost both of my parents when I was younger: dad in 2000 when I was 23 and mom in 2006 when I was 30. It is something you never fully get over, but time does help. Just remember the best moments you shared with your mom. Take care 🙂

At 1:40..the girl who got off of heroin and is trying to stop cigarettes I say CONGRATULATIONS and good luck. It's a rough road but keep workin on it. Keep holding your head high. You are doing what many people havent been able to do. You are young and beautiful. You have a world to open up and become whatever you desire. I'm proud of you. 8 years sober is fabulous. Cigarettes are almost as hard to ditch as heroin...I smoked for 32 years and threw them away and never looked back.

I've made a promise to myself that my first tattoo will be the last present my uncle gave to me before he passed away when I was 8 (a small but really special pen) surrounded by fireworks as we would always go to his house on bonfire night to set off fireworks. He had quite a few tattoos,so I think it would be a good way to honour him

I just remembered this when looking at the robin saved from crows, I remember that once there was a nest with robin eggs and the mother robin next to my house. One day I was watching it outside and a squirrel was trying to do something to the nest. The mother robin tried to get it away while staying close to the nest but that doesn't work so well. Then out of no where a crow comes and chases the squirrel away. then stayed up on the building, close enough to protect the nest but not so close that the mother would get worried, for the next few hours, just making sure. That was two of my favorite birds interacting in a good way and I will never forget it. The baby birds were all wonderful and no problems were encountered.

Imagine a rough file being dragged over your teeth. That's what it would be like for a bird getting its beak filed. There needs to be a strong trust to do it. The poor thing had probably been left in a cage where it couldn't file its own beak naturally. Not everyone is cut out to be a bird owner, but this guy knows what he's doing.

I'm Autistic and I didn't speak until I was five. My grandfather and I were cleaning his Barrett M82A1 antimaterial rifle and we shot it after. As I was putting the magazine in, I asked, "Am I doing it right?" He went to the tattoo parlor and got his rifle and, "Am I doing it right?" tattooed over his heart. I miss that man so much.

my grandpa died in september 2021 of covid. he loved the ocean so much and lived very close by. november/december 2021 my mom (his daughter) and stepdad started looking for houses to buy. we found so many we really liked but we ended up only being able to put an offer on four. only one was accepted. the house we moved in just a few days ago is six blocks from the beach

His name is Hope, and he is the only known survivor from a clutch of about 50-60 eggs. I was extremely excited then, still smile when I think about it now.
