He can’t really start convos, but every once in a while, I talk to him and say things such as, “ask me something” or “wait, you did _(something part of that he said)_? How’d that go?” (To expand conversation) And I think he’s gaining confidence from starting more and more convos. (Not just with me, but with other people too!) Honestly loved the video. Also a good tip that I have learned is that as a man we should have experience being a friend with a girl before we try to date her. For example I know a guy that was only a friend with one girl and he married her. But that was the worst decision of his life because he only found out after they got married that she was mean and not kind to him. So all men reading this, please try to be a friend with a female. No matter if you have a crush on her or not, just do it so that you can have the experience of a relationship with a girl. My humble advice - Nai

I was a missionary for my church for two years. We would walk up to random people and start conversations with them in any and every situation. One fun thing we would do is play the "bolder game". We had to one-up the other person in how boldly we introduced ourselves and talked with people. It was amazingly effective because it made talking with people a game, refocused your energy away from fears, made your communication clear, and softened the blow of rejection. You could look like a creep if you go 100% on this game with approaching girls, but it could be effective, especially if you are shy and struggle to talk with them.
@austinsmith94135 ай бұрын
If we were ever around lots of young people our age, we would often find the cutest girl there, walk up to the and ask, "Have you ever met my friend Elder ________?" It was then fun to watch your friend try and talk with them without blushing or stammering. Or they would pull it on you, and you had to talk with them. 😂 As missionaries, we weren't allowed to flirt, date, or have any non-professional relationship with girls, but it was mind-blowing how many were still interested in us simply because we were bold enough to approach and talk with them. This has been a word salad, but I'm reliving so many good memories writing this!

@@bekabeka71I think I see why she didn't respond now. She dodged a bullet. Why don't "nice guys" understand how hypocritical they are? "A woman rejected me? Well, it's her fault for not being able to see what she's missing out on." No. That is what is called being a narcissist, and it is probably your fault if you think that they are in the wrong for not wanting to go out with you. Then, after you know that your chances with her are destroyed, you start with your backhanded comments. "Well, you weren't pretty anyways." That's like messing something up and saying you meant to do that. Just accept that she does not want to date you and that not every woman has to fall head over heels for you. If a man makes advances and when he is rejected, he throws a hissy fit, that's a major red flag.

Harsh but very true, respecting the boundaries is important. I mean if I want to go back into dating I would make sure they are comfortable to talk and let them talk. I had a friend that would when he got a potential girlfriend they would be somewhere between an 8-10 and he would immediately try to get in bed with them. When someone says they have got other women "lined up" it makes me think of him. I'd just prefer to date a personality person then a girl with Curtin like eyelasshes or something (nothing wrong with it, it's just not my cup of tea). Also there should be standards in place before you start to date, I realised that after my 4th so I stopped dating so I can figure out what I'm looking for. But yeah respect is a big thing. Just hope this guy learns that this isn't just for your benefit, when you have a partner your a team and a team works together like well oiled cogs n stuff. 🙂

Well boys, after watching this video, I manage to get a date with my crush and just a few days ago, we finally got together. So trust me when I say this, you can do anything you put your mind too. Took me a while to actually tell her because of my bad social anxiety, but I pulled through. You boys got this.

"people love talking about themselves" no truer words have ever been said. I can't tell you how many people I know inside and out but who wouldn't even know my favorite color, what food I like, or even my intentions after 20 years of knowing each other, just because they've never asked.

just don't stop now. dont take a break from "women". go on and go for other girls. Be casual in the art of pulling girls. even if u arent, its just a way to convince urself u can actually do better. And trust me brother u really can

Thank you for this message! Believe it or not I actually tried this on a former crush, but there were other factors as well, and nothing happened. I was young, and had more to learn (I still do and always will, but that's the whole point of life). But, in my personal experience, I think you should not only become a better you, but actually embrace the time when you are alone. Romance shouldn't be the focus in life, it should be a byproduct of the life you are living, and the man you are becoming.💪

Yo this is actually super cool, my girlfriend cheated with me and I confronted her about it and she kept beating around the bush. It really sucked and my friend got broken up with too. I’m looking for someone to fill her place. I appreciate this greatly Jak.

Damn boys, lately I’ve had this boost of confidence and asking girls out because I’m not afraid of rejection anymore because even if she doesn’t like you she appreciates that you tried. Now I have a crush on my Sargent and she is my age. The momemt she finishes with the army in a month I’m asking her out boys

I had a crush on a girl for like 3 years and we talked quite frequently and I really liked her. I think she liked me too but the problem was she moved away. I only see her like once a year and I try to make the conversations that I have with her last forever. Unfortunately, that’s just not possible. I could probably get away with saying I loved her. She was just an amazing person overall and just plain beautiful. Leaving on good terms is the worst thing that’s happened to me relationship wise.

always remember that what you seek is not always what is the best for you. if he/she says no do not let that stop you because you have the power to keep moving forward and you are in control of yourself. when you find yourself and enjoy life for its qualities you will naturally attract the right person for you

starts with exanging a few words here and there and slowly day by day interact more with her. Do this everyday, be consistent, never back out, just do it, it will feel good.
@schneormetzinger51678 күн бұрын
I usually agree with the things you say, but i hardly disagree about “become the person she would be attracted to”. You do not need to change yourself for anyone period. Yes, work on yourself and be active, learn as much as you can about different topics you are interested in, not what someone you want validation from would expect you to be. Thinking this way automatically puts you in a high value spot in the eyes of people around you. Or your crush in this case. BOTTOM LINE: Don’t be a simp Learn how to say no And give yourself some more appreciation you deserve it😉

This video speaks volumes! Was the exact same until I started pushing myself to practice small conversations with people I just so happen to be meet at the shops, waiter at resturant etc. These small conversations are kinda like training wheels since its usually has a topic already, but it helps so much. Great video Jak!

I don't get crushes and I tend to say I am an aromantic, so I wasn't so interested in the topic of this video however, I still listen to these videos in the background. i felt suicidal just a bit ago, but i listened to two of your videos, and it felt like someone was comforting me, in a way. so thanks. you take my mind off things. :)
