She unfortunately does live a 2 hour commute away from me, but after having met her I have gone to visit her a few times already and we hung out in a small group setting with friends. I have always brought her some low cost but very thoughtful gifts for her like you said. She really appreciated the gestures and she did figure out I was interested in her. I did tell her as well that I like her and she said it's been great getting to know me as friends she basically said let's keep it at friends for a while as she's very careful and reserved about who she gives and opens herself up to. Which is exactly why I really liked her because she has high standards and is very traditional in that sense. No promiscuous past ect. Absolutely wife material. I told her I was cool with that and we've had lots of fun hanging out. Who knows, maybe she will see value in me. I am confident that I am a good man and have lots to offer as well as future husband and father. I also don't sleep around ect so she may really appreciate these things about me. Time will tell haha. But it feels like fishing! Need to be patient and not force anything.

I will continue to show commitment to spending time together and maybe she will see my values as a man. I am confident I am a good man with good intentions. The mental(and physical) journey from last year to this year has been crazy for me. From last year hating every day and hating waking up, going to sleep, school.. I had, kinda still have, OCD. It was taking over my life and somehow idk, I avoided therapy/medication and just forced myself to ignore my brain. Kinda shut out the stupid voice telling me to do something I knew was irrational. I seriously thought my OCD would just end up ruining my life but shit here I am. I now am excelling in highschool with a 99 average, and been working out for a while but started to take nutrition into account 40 days ago. Already lost 10ish pounds and gonna keep going. Fixed my sleep and now life is almost perfect. I still got some problems but it is what is, I’ll just push through it. Idk I typed this just had to say it. People suffering from any thing mental, like ocd just know it’s possible to fix it, overcome it, ye.

Honestly im really into this girl right now When we first talked, it felt like we had known each other forever, but i know that just seems so off, since any time before last summer i felt as if i was kind of pathetic. Its that fact that I can't imagine my old self in my current situation- I mean, I was tired 24/7, No haircut, almost no self esteem, bullied at school, got mad easily. I even remember one of my friends actually was into one of her friends at some point and invited me to sit with them, but i didn't say anything to her. Its not any abruptly sexual that stopped me from talking to her, but i felt like i was too awkward to talk to back then, and my social anxiety was really bad back then, even this year I kept having nervous sweats on the first few days of school. But over that summer I start working on myself and started being healthier. I feel like if I legitimately compare myself now to 16 months ago, i think I might be ready.
