That battery compartment system was genius. And putting a gasket to kind of water proof it too.

Yeah but they sound… not good. I’m sure will tell you that but yeah they sound… like bad (which hurts to say because it’s a great idea and execution but it’s extremely limited)

Now this is something people will definitely buy if they sound good. Earbuds loose thier battery life in mere 2 years. This should have been the 1st product they should have launched.

This is awesome. I use WF1000XM 4. If sound quality is comparable, I'd buy these in a heartbeat.

From what I know it's pretty decent especially for price. But it's also limited shiping, only in Europe rn I think

​@@kooll2401it's really not, the frequency response is very bad in the mid-high frequencies, and the drivers can't give high dynamic range

Unfortunately I have them and the sound quality is not good. But still a good product we need to encourage !

sadly their frequency reponse is trash, very hard time producing mid-high notes and they apparently sound quite muddy, like a phone speaker on max volume, compressing complex sounds into a bad representation of the loudest sounds. If you want to call or listen to podcasts it's fine but for music it's sadly not a real option.

nah, that coin cell battery is normal, we just don't see much of them. the case battery is, but knowing fairphone's history, they'll offer parts for at least 5 years.

This is so awesome. As much as I loved apple, I had to admit to myself that it’s not what I expect my hardware to be anymore so I went back to a PC after 10 years of owning just a macbook. Sorry, Tim Apple!

Fair but I wouldn't know any good way of keep it even somewhat waterproof without that or some very easy to break rubber gasket. 9.5/10

I replaced the batteries in my wf1000xm4. Glue is needed for waterproof. I love how easy the battery is to replace in these though.

I think not having them waterproof (and therefore breakable beyond repair) is much much worse than some weak glue
