Helldivers 2 is a third-person action shooter developed by Arrowhead Studios. Players will venture out into the galaxy to slay dangerous enemies and reclaim planets into the Super Earth alliance all in the name of freedom. They dropped the ball ( the makers of Starship Troopers Game) and Arrowhead picked it up up and went for a Touchdown. Highly recommended. Granted, it has had it's teething troubles. But saying all that , it's an indie studio. It's bags of fun and as a ton of scope. Imo, possibly the best co-op hoard shooter although third person since Left 4 Dead 1 and 2. That is a bold statement but also a true one. It's in the running for Game Of The Year and we are only in February 2024.

This game brings back the fun of co-op gameplay. Can’t remember the last time I’ve had this much fun with my best buds and not have to sweat to do decent. PvE is just so much more relaxing with friends. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this game get nominated for game of the year. Hats off to the devs for bringing back co-op fun.
