Iguana growth 9 Months old

ima post another video once they get a lil bigger n i need tips on what i can feed them cuz i want them as healthy as possible p.s i need help breeding my bearded dragons the male would move his head up n down n his lower neck gets all black but no breeding

Collard greens every day, main sourse of nutrients. You could also use mustard greens. Or both. Add & mix one cut in half blueberry (Or grape, half strawberry, peice of melon, or cantolope, banana) Plus some regular pellet food & then spray calcium all over the salad. Stay away from acidic fruits.

you need to feed as many greens as possible, like collards, mustard greens, also juvanile iguana pellits @ 6 months my iguanas are usualy 24 to 26 inches long

If anybody can answer me this, I have a 2 almost 3 year old green iggy, I have him in a cage that is 4hx5Lx2 1/2D, he has his heat light, his Zoo-Med 5.0%UVB and he has been in this cage for two years, and he is only STL-about 35-40in long. I give him baby spring mix salad with green beans every other day, yellow squash, and occasional watermelon/strawberries/etc. No banana's or anything like that. Also dust his food every three days with Repti-Cal calcium powder. Shouldn't he be bigger??

This isn't a chinese water dragon, look at the circles on its cheeks. It might be a growth stunted iguana.

@beanthemean3323 at first it was hard to tame them because their little and scared but i would pik them up literal like every day almost 24/7 but little by little they seem to mature through age and learn not to be scared so my advice is just to carry them alot

I can tell you to go to the iguana society website and that is what we follow for our 10 mo old iguana Laya. check out her videos. She is on the food they sugguest and she sheds about 2-3x's a month now. Cant help on the bearded dragon yet... I want one though.

Wow so much hate on them. I got mine from Petco. And another guy saved the 3rd one. I do have to say they are not well educated in the care of Iguana Iguana. My bf wanted one again. So we got him. They gave us crickets. I've never had one. So after much research I shared my concern on the diet they were giving them. Now knowing why they were sooo small. But since my Petco listened and they are way better cared for now. The one thing my location does believe in is handling. So my IG slept with me 1st night brought home. He is now 2 yrs old, 3ft and free roam. Dog barked all day. Cat trying to knock over flowers in vase all day. IG, sitting on windowsill catching his rays. Crazy difference.

In this case, you should neglect her, put her in the cage and just feed her and just go 'round and let her see you everyday. Touching her everyday just let her moving faster. Dont touch her then she will be slower and slower and then inert.

No, thats a very bad idea, first of all they have two different food sources, iguana's have to have veggies and fruit, which is fine if a chinese water dragon eats it, but if an iguana were to eat crickets and other insects (Chinese water dragon food) they can become sick from too much protein, Not to mention their both two different tempermants, the iguana will be very territorial.
