Picked one up about a year ago. Was set on getting a Darkglass B7K...saw the DP3x, and Pinnick has long been one of my faves players...A/B'd it with the Darkglass and left with the DP3X. It's since become an indispensable part of my rig, and I play just about all genres...love it.

The Boss GT10-B... I gigged around NYC for 8 years and nearly every show someone would come up “man your bass tone is amazing! What are you using?”. And I’d point to that Boss multi effects unit. The disappointment on the faces of so many hipsters!! They were expected some crazy boutique pedal board with tubes hanging out of it. Nope. I bring my Fender 5 string and that and plug into the PA haha. I miss that thing sometimes. Totally underrated pedal. Great sounds available if you put the time in to learn it.

Does the dp-3x need a specific power supply? I bought used and they didn't include a dc adapter. My regular power supplies don't seem to work.

Photo on Sweetwater shows 9vdc at 250mA, center negative. So standard supplies should work.

What kind of strings were you guys using on the Dingwall Combustion?
