Just back from there.. sweating like crazy.. concept is like GPO but while in Genting the cold weather is nice here is hot and sweaty! But i guess no one really complains as this area is far away from city so there is no other option but this mall

should build a multi story car park since basement car park is more expensive to build, anticipate congestion during public holidays and heavy down pour
@满世界寻你4 ай бұрын
in architectural design point of view, that's ugly thoo... no that kind of "feel" and vibe like DPC anymore.

Great video. I have visited this mall for the 3rd time now and it's all nice and green with decent retails and F&B outlets but one thing I noticed with this open-type mall in open carpark against our weather climate makes it a bit problematic. The Jaya Grocer where people will do their grocery shopping... very nice design interior and all and it's a big issue if you bought your groceries but you parked your vehicles further away (since the nearby parking bay mostly full and can't choose your parking area on a peak day). Imagine pushing your full trolley out from Jaya Grocer to your vehicle in a heavily rained day? There's also no dedicated pathway to push your trolleys to your vehicles because certainly it's quite inappropriate to push them into the walkways. After unloading your groceries into your vehicles, where do you leave your trolleys? Something to ponder by the management...

There's a reserved spot for possibly the boomgate and POS for parking entry, let's see what the public thinks when they start charging for parking and there's no shelter for the parking bays, no sheltered walkway from parking zones to the strip of shops. Once the "fresh" factor wears off we'll see a clearer picture. One weekend all the nearer parking zones were full and i saw several OKUs having to travel a distance crossing several roads under extreme heat as they had to park few hundred metres away, not to mention road shoulders were all fully parked.

They should have had at least a 1 floor basement car park. They could have learnt this from desa park city which is always almost impossible to get a car park
@iherng4 ай бұрын
I think there will be a phase 2 of the mall, and most likely there will be more elevated carparks there. Let me confirm further with the architect:)

As usual, any new development in Malaysia has no sidewalk and Crosswalk/Zebra Crossing even though in the car park area.

Save on AC😅 ...but a street mall, lots of walking + limited scattered parking in our hot weather
@kamarulbahrikadir26704 ай бұрын
Great! Open car park with limited car park available. Like this area would have two or three times rains annually. They (Sime Darby Property) didn't learn anything from Street Mall Cyberjaya?

The SA at the gallery mentioned that that transit hub is already approved by the government, so now it's not a proposed project rather than a confirmed project already. Same with the alternative DASH entrance/exit near Seven Sky International School.

If one visited the sales gallery, he/she will know why the elmina lakeside mall is designed in such a way 1. This is not THE mall, this is an attraction to get people to go to the sales gallery or an attraction for people to consider buying the condos that will be developed behind the mall 2. Once the condos completely built, and more people bought the condos, then would they build the actual mall, located next to this Elmina Lakeside Mall...as they aim to get the footprints based on the people residing at the City Centre 3. Hence, why there are more F&B outlets at the Elmina Lakeside Mall....as once the actual mall is built, it makes more sense for only the F&B outlets to remain, targetting residences or people who went to the park, playground, attractions and the futsall fields
