We can imagine that already. But I still went ahead and bought a set of the plastic ones. I'm sure the wood will hold up after applying a sealer.

We will definitely do a long term review in the future to see how they hold up. So far it's held up well against the rain with the sealer on it.

Hi! Can you tell me how put batten on this tile after 1:02 on yours video? Thanks for answer!

The runnen edging strips are adjustable on the back and will click into place like the other tiles do. Hope that helps.

@@HappyHomeBlogVlog Good, but how to mount the edge slats in a place that does not have an extension provided for it?
@HappyHomeBlogVlog3 ай бұрын
@@cortomaltenezer4514 2 sides have a visible extension, the other 2 sides have the connection underneath the tile. So all 4 sides have a connection to snap into. The edge slats have an adjustable piece on the bottom that can either snap into the outward facing connections by pushing, or inward connections by lifting up on the tile and snapping into place. Basically every other piece will work that way.

Which trim did you use?
@HappyHomeBlogVlog2 ай бұрын
For the trim, we used the Runnen edging strips from Ikea. They come in a 4 pack. For the corner pieces, we used the Runnen corner edges which come in packs of 2.

Won't the deck tiles slide to an open space? How do they stay without moving
@HappyHomeBlogVlog5 ай бұрын
The tiles have little pegs on the bottom, similar to cleats. Once you connect several of the tiles together, it's much heavier and harder to slide around. So far we haven't had any issues with them moving, but we also have a table and chairs on them which I'm sure helps.
