he was on track to be at least the second leading scorer all time but injuries derailed that so quickly.

he would of been #1 tbh.

As much as Kobe was loyal to the Lakers,they really didn't treat him they should have.

Kobe's first 2 seasons he was a bench player and his last 3 season was excusable due to injury. So, he had like 15 years in the nba

@@seabuschan5677 that's why he's a better case for discussion. Mike came to Chicago,it was in shambles, LeBron, Cleveland it was in shambles. They both broke out. Mike was a scorer but it took him 7 years for a chip. LeBron was a scorer but the franchise allowed his style, though it only brought a championship.and that one was only sports politics because even Steph Curry had. To keep his mouth closed and Tell his wife, when she said it was rigged,the way the officiating went for LeBron to win. His style doesn't show discipline. And when I say that I mean Kobe and m.j. learned the triangle to win, that's why Kobe 2+4=6 for Mike and 2+3=5 for Kobe. LeBron doesn't win because he can't learn a offense he can only run one. Kobe was drafted by a winning franchise to better empower his pedigree of winning.hr got that injury in his 17 year, with a old cast,and the next 3years he played 90 games, imagine if he didn't have that bad old cast ...15 years as a shooting guard that played like a 7 footer is the reason why this topic comes up . So while LeBron's stats are better it's because he had more chances at being a looser

In Kobe’s first almost 3 years in the league he was heavily restricted on minutes just because the coach favored veterans. Kobe’s last 3 years were filled with major major injuries and because of age and all the injuries he’s carried throughout his career, his body couldn’t handle it anymore. So to sum it up, 6 years of Kobe’s career were basically wasted and gone because of discrimination against his age in his first 3 years & then major injuries in his last 3. Not to mention the fact that Kobe would get injured every season and still play through it.

Alex Y This. Kobe is a complete player, but his greatest flaw is that he doesn't just want to win, but that he wants to win HIS way.

WeAreEnders so how many championships do you think he would have won if he played to win not win his way. i think five championships makes a pretty strong argument for the way he plays.
@WeAreEnders
@WeAreEnders 10 жыл бұрын
Thomas Jackson It's hard to say. I do think if he were more a team first guy during the Shaq years, that team stays together longer and wins more championships. If nothing else, Kobe doesn't play right into the '04 Pistons hands (my favorite team btw) by trying to score over double and triple teams. His determination to be "The Man" at that point, couldn't have been more ill-timed.
