Kobe mastered both ends of the court. The only other player that mastered both ends of the court is Jordan. Unfortunate the league and media refused to include Kobe in the Goat dialogue. Instead the media chose a player that has a losing record in the Finals (L3-6ron) to compare with Jordan and anyone with basic common sense knows there is no comparison. The media is a complete joke and a propaganda machine. Thank you Kobe for your displaying your discipline, work ethic and skill to the world.

This lakers team was never built “around Kobe” it was built to grow together. That’s what teams should be like. Kobe Bryant grew with this team and trading for Pau just put it over the top. Instead of building a team to help a player succeed, ahem Lebron, build a team to succeed as a team whether the player is in a great place to get ridiculous numbers or not. Kobe could’ve done better with more shooting but the chemistry of the team, especially defensively, was more important. Lakers ownership knew he’d find a way to do his thing no matter what.

@@dharmdevil Bron averages more blocks per game than Kobe, and blocks are part of the defensive game. No way is Bron a no-defense player. And what is a stapadder? A stapadder is a player who plays exclusively for the stats. If you win multiple championships, you are more than a mere stapadder, mere stapadder do not win multilple championships. Bron plays to win champiohips, as proved by his 3 rings (that could be 4 if not for the COVID-19 pandemic that stopped the 2020 playoffs). If Bron averages more triple-dobles than Kobe is not because he is a "stappadder" but rather because he is more complete. Bron is taller than Kobe so it is logical that he averages more rebounds per game. And Bron is a much better playmaker than Bryant, hence it is only logical that Bron averages more assists per game than Kobe.

8:50: Kobe's pivot (left foot) slid while he was twisting so quickly to turn back around (an unbelievable move, let me just say that), and that was a travel because he slid, but honestly on that kind of a move, it didn't even matter. He would've scored anyway. Meanwhile, we have guys taking 3 steps on layups (Harden, LeBron) left and right, and that's when people should get outraged like D'Antoni did. That's the type of travel that needs to get called every time.

Kobe was one of the most exciting players to watch because he could do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted... he could be passive while allowing his teammates to score and then he could just explode out of nowhere. It doesn't make sense how Steve Nash won 2 MVP's before Kobe won his first one that same season, that is a complete joke! If you asked Kobe how many MVPs he should've had, he probably could've cared less because his main priority was winning, but there's no doubt that he should have at least 4 MVPs to his name.

@@Kommunik8Moor who? Harden or Kobe cause at this timestamp it's not a travel. Harden doesn't travel more often than not it's just when he doesn't do the move correctly. It's the 1 or 2 times he travels every 5 or so games other than those times the move is almost impossible to guard.
@Kommunik8Moor4 жыл бұрын
@@xDreMack you must be looking through harden proof glasses. He walks more than anyone else. He may not get the call on him but he is walking. AI seen it himself. "That used to be a walk when I played" Harden is a good player not great he pushes of usually to create space and his defense is lacking. Plus when he had his opportunity to be that man he absolutely fell flat and has yet to win a playoff series in the role as that man.
@xDreMack4 жыл бұрын
@@Kommunik8Moor yea the rules have changed since A.I. playing days but when Harden does the move correctly it's not a travel the refs would call it if he was travelling. A.I. might be jaded that he was called for carrying the ball on his signature crossover to the point where he had to modify his dribbling. He's basically doing a backwards euro step into a three which is insane considering that he has to first change his momentum and makes that shot at a high rate. I'm not a big James Harden fan so his playoff success is irrelevant to me. I just like how he's been able to manipulate the rules to come up with an unstoppable move. He'll be doing this the rest of his career so idk what to tell you bro.

Kobe Career Numbers from 00-13: He averaged 29.8 ppg, 6.1 rebs, 5.6 assists on 49% shooting. Michael Jordan Career Numbers from 85-98: He averaged 30.6 ppg, 6.1 rebs, and 5.2 asts on 50% THE NUMBERS ARE BASICALLY THE SAME!!!!! That shouldnt be the case when Kobe had significantly more injuries, and had to put up tougher shots. During that period yes Jordan led the league in scoring 10 times but when you in a league where your the only guard that can score in bunches what were you supposed to do? I say you put Kobe in the same system where there's no zone defense and people have to either 100% guard Kobe one on one or 100% double team Kobe would average more than Jordan's career high which 37ppg. Why do I say that? Because Kobe averaged 35 in a league where teams barely averaged over 95 points per game. Jordan averaged 37 in a league where teams where averaging 100 and above points easily.
