@@luckan20after Thalapathy IR hasn’t scored a classical music with that quality... even his recent Psyco was a hit but nothing when compared to the Rakkama kaiyathattu or Sundari Kannal. We have to accept that bitter pill. There are some loyal directors like Bala, Panju Arunachalam, Msykin who are still waiting for his music... but he is struggling give his best. Otherside, Mani’s has matured as a director even his last movie CCV was considered as a classic. Now he is still talking Ponniyin Selvan which was a period story which even MGR was afraid of taking it. Not sure how it’s going to come out but that attempt is commendable. Mani is still relevant, IR has gone out of date and not able give justifiable music neither to his hard core fans nor to his loyal directors.
