I have always had a huge respect for Bengali Culture, language, traditions and food..I have subscribed to this beautiful channel and trust me when I say this, this is by far the BEST food channel... I have followed this recipe inch by inch and the outcome is yummylicios. Being the right season for hilsas I really didn't have to wait much after watching this video. Getting banana leaf was a struggle here in Mumbai. But thankfully Ganesh puja is round the corner and I managed to get quite some banana leaves. Finding a large size was a challenge so had to manage with small banana leaf. Thus folding the fishes comfortably was a struggle. But all the efforts put behind was worth. All I had was an aromatic hilsa delicacy which I can crave for ant time.
