Yesper ARMOR (HEAT) Jump Starter Demo and Review

I purchased 3 of these. One for work, one for my father who drives a Ram 2500 diesel, and one for the wife just in case she gets stuck anywhere. Price vs performance.....this thing out performs the NOCO GB70 for half the cost. I'm a Battery Technician for AAA and I jump vehicles all day long...13+ hours a day for 5-6 days a week. The Yesper hasn't let me down yet.

I'm a AAA battery technician as well and I started off with the GB40 but it takes way too long to recharge from dead which has happened to me a few times until I bought the yesper armor and couldn't be happier. We work 12 hour shifts and some days are very busy so I needed a jumpbox that could charge up quick and this one does the trick

I have these model and I was able to boost 2 dead cars in -50 weather before the battery drops down to 70 percent and wont boost anymore. I had to charge it back to 90 percent and I was able to jumpstart one more car. I wonder how this compares to Goloo Gt 4000. Update: It wont jumpstart anymore. No voltage is coming out from the terminals. Charged to 100 percent but doesnt boost. Battery level stays 100 percent. Guess ill go back to my old reliable lead acid jumpstarter just need to change the battery every few years.UPDATE: I just changed the defective 70 amp relay to 80amp on Yesper Armor and its back to life again. I also have Goloo gt3000 which I have to change the relay too, used them before both same day same car and both quit. I found out the electronics inside are both the same just different outer packaging.

I bought one of these. The Inverter was defective and would not work. It also failed to jump start my 5.7 with a low battery. I spent 5 days sending emails to Yesper Customer service asking for help. Not a single reply. I would recommend getting a different brand of jump starter.

The only bad and negative thing I can say is that it doesn’t come with a case.

This appears to be the Gooloo GT4000 released under another brand name. Seems identical. They are very good units!

I noticed you attach to the Neg post on the battery first; is there a specific reason for this vs Pos first? It's in the back of my mind that it should be Pos first. I got one of these before I saw your video, but had not used it yet ...and, of course, lost the paperwork. Thanks for posting this so I could up. Jim

no reason. it does not spark due to the safety circuits

Do they make a cable that you can attach to terminals and leave them attached? Then just plug in unit with using jumper cables.

Hello. Can you please tell me how long boost mode stays active? Does it turn itself off after a certain amount of time or do you have to turn it off manually?

Do you prefer this unit over the JF Egwo you reviewed last year? I (And my brother each) purchased the 3000Amp JF Egwo and have been happy with them.

This one is a beast but the JF is a good unit too with a pump. I put the JF in the wife's car for the JIC senario.

What kind of usb c charger do you use?

It comes with a 12v charger for the car and that thing works like a beast! It charges over 100w! A regular C type charger will work as well, just not as fast.
