Their loss, most of them don't seem to have ever read the Deuterocanon but scoff at their inclusion in Bibles anyways

This will be my third Catholic Bible. I have the Cambridge NRSV, and the Inspire Catholic Colouring Bible, both of which I love. Looking forward to adding this one to my collection. I love reading the different versions, with and without the Apocrypha, and once you work out where the additional books and chapters are, it is a delight to follow along. :)

I got six minutes into your video, and flew to Amazon UK to order a copy. £43! What an absolute bargain! I have the Cambridge Catholic Bible including Apocrypha, and this will be a nice companion for it. :) Can't wait for Friday to arrive with my Bible. Definitely improved what has been an awful couple of weeks. :)

Thanks for your review! I've wanted to reread the Bible for awhile, but I was worried that the blocks of texts would be too much with my ADHD. With the pictures breaking things up, I think I'll be able to manage. This seems like is would be a good investment, thanks for your help! 😊

Yes. But in this edition it has the name Ecclesiasticus, while Ben Sira has been used in NABRE.

Yes. The book is called "Sirach" also known as Ecclesiasticus.

I was just able to buy this bible off EBay for 47 dollars including tax with free shipping.... I don't know if I will ever use it. as I prefer the KJV... but it seemed like too good of deal to pass up...

Hello. I was hoping you could explain something to me about this amazing Bible. Why do all the words that have “ct”, “st”, etc in it have a odd hook from the top of the t back to the previous letter? I don’t know how else to explain it. Is that just just an embellishment or something?

Just purchased at my Barnes and Noble, their only copy. Has all the features I have been wanting at great price. Always wanted the extra books. Beautiful Bible with lots of note taking room if I choose.

It is a beautiful Bible! For the price it is wonderful. I have two LIttle Rock Bibles one in leathersoft, and the other in paperback. The paper feels wonderful in those also, and wide margins. I really should use those more. They are in the modern language Catholic version. Great scholarship too.
