@@xtraviation Um, no, unfortunately I don't speak Catalan because I live in the southern part of Sardinia. therefore I speak Campidanese Sardinian and I have difficulty understanding who speaks Nuorese Sardinian. 🙂 That's right, Sardinia has also undergone Spanish domination for centuries, this explains why the language is also close to Spanish. For example, I don't have an Italian surname, but I have a spanish surname 🙂 So I believe my ancestor was Spanish.

Romanian language is one of the few that writing and speaking sound the same, what i mean is not like German, where what you write and what you speak is the same. Plus is the closed to Latin, next to Italy. Plus yes Romania has roots, in Slavic, Germanic, and even some Arabic, but mostly Latin.
@massimolisoni49902 жыл бұрын
Italians say the same about their language, but it's not 100% true as some groups of letters like ch, sc, gl are pronounced differently in different languages. Anyway Romanian, Italian, Spanish, Catalan, Japanese are the closest in pronuciation and writing 👍 English is just the hell 😄👎

Romanian is not slavic, turkic or other nonsense.. romanian actually has deep dacian roots but at the time of the nation building of Romania in 1848… the indo-europenistic language studies disnt exist so they couldnt study romanias substrate. They went with an imposture variant of history claiming we are romans.. which is nonsense, we are the dacians.. proven by linguists in new york To hide the dacian roots of our language, the fathers of this artificial history looked in the dictionaries of our surrounding languages and attributed their origin there just if the words looked similar.. For example of this grave mistake… you my friend think Romanian has slavic in it… well, as a romanian which also studied russian i can tell you i didnt know 1 russian word… Its because the word “razboi” they atributed to slavic because they wanted to get rid of the dacian origin… so they found something similar to “razboi” in russian which actually means “theft”… see the mistake? For turkish “loan words” its even more funny… they wanted to get rid of the dacian word “bursuc” so they found in the turkish dictionary “borsuk” which is a tree species… Everything that didnt look latin was considered a loan word from other languages… to get rid of the dacian element Our history the way its written is a farse, we are here for more than 3000-7000 years (hungarian chronicles also say it… our enemies) Its very stupid how Academia Romana ignores this.. because look at bulgarians or hungarians… every nation looks for even a coin or bone on their land, to prove their historical right… and us romanians give our dacian words to others…….

I mean... the point with vulgar Latin is that it was dialectal in nature, right ? There was no "standard vulgar Latin", because the whole point is that it's "vulgar", it's the Latin that's spoken by the people, as opposed to the litterary, written standard. So I feel like including a "vulgar Latin" row doesn't really make much sense, since we don't know the time or place. And I'm also fairly confident, though I don't really know the details so it's possible I'm partly wrong, that "vulgar" and "classical" Latin were never both spoken at the same time and place ; "vulgar" Latin emerged when people started pronouncing Latin differently from the pronunciation of the Classical period, while still retaining the exact same writing. So for example, there isn't a word in "vulgar Latin" to say three, it's just that different people from different times and places pronounce the Latin word for three each in their own way.

Amazing video ! I am from Romania and I can say that we , Romanian and Istro-Romanian have a significant slavic influence while Aromanian and Megleno have a Greek influence. Our standard Romanian language is based on the Daco-Romanian dialect (as the Romans interracted with the Dacians) but nowadays the Dacian words in our language are very few, and there is not much evidence of thraco-dacian language group.

Never heard of balcanic Latin Proto Romanian came from , balcanic Latin '?? It's a made up story to lie that some Latin words in south Danube countries are not from Romanian, but from Latin as well. Like Slavic ,dosto'( enough) is not from Romanian,destul'( enough).. There's another related word Satul( tired of) from Latin , Satulius ' In the balcans there was Greek, Proto Romanian and all other related languages and of course Dalmatian which was the link between Daco Romanian and Italic languages notably, Venetian.
