B N I’ve written up the instruction on my website but basically you pour the base into the loaf pan and stir with a fork every 30 mins until it’s holding its shape and then you leave it until firm

Is there a way to know the base is ready without the egg float test?

if you follow the recipe the egg test isn't needed it was just a fun way to show you how to test the base
