Just out of curiosity, as someone on the spectrum who happens to identity as a woman, what is your experience with regards to the frequency of autism in women vs men? Autism seems to be more of a guy thing at first glance, though I feel that it might be equally common in women, and instead is probably just not noticed in them as much. Like, maybe women on average are affected by it in a different way.

I'm so sorry! I just lost my grandpa about a month ago so I know that it hurts a ton. (as well as feeling abandoned by my significant other who didn't go to the funeral, which related to how Kristina felt abandoned twice but that's a tangent not related to what you said lol). Aww let yourself cry! Crying doesn’t mean you’re weak. It just means you’re human. I’ve always loved your content but I reached a whole new level of respect for you when you opened up about your struggles with bpd, as I have that diagnosis too and it’s incredibly important to take care of our mental health and well being. Hi Kristina. I know I am not your usual viewer as I'm a little older (39), but I am sorry you had to go through all that but I am glad you are feeling better now. I remember when I first clicked on one of your thumbnails I thought, "She's beautiful let me check her out," but then it became clear that you are very insightful and I like how you own certain people with facts and logic so I decided to stay. Just as an aside, I did experience loss last year as well. My uncle passed away (Not COVID), and a female friend I have known since high school passed suddenly. She just got over her fear of public singing, joined a band, signed a record deal and then.... I woke up to the news that she was found in her bed. I held it together for the entire day (It happened on a day I had to work) then cried that night. While 2021 may have been bad in these areas, I hope that it's a better year for all of us.

Alright, here are my thoughts on the video (now that my excitement has worn down lol). I myself was raised catholic (still technically am being raised as one since I’m under 18 and have to go to church with my parents) but now am openly an atheist. I love seeing other peoples perspectives on religion, and I’d be especially interested in hearing about your journey! I am also so sorry about what’s been happening in your life. Things definitely have been rough, and I hope our efforts to help (mostly just the patrons really) did make some kind of an impact. But honestly, people are just crappy sometimes. Someone I’ve known for a long time started to become less and less pleasant to be around in recent years, and to this day I’m still looking for a way to break things off with them. But it’s tricky when we’re in the same school. But don’t worry about me. Focus on mending your own life and relationships. Considering you uploaded, you’re probably doing at least okay now, and I’m genuinely glad. You’re a wonderful person and so is the content you create. Have a nice night!

In the time you were off KZbin, I actually had a similar situation to you regarding someone I knew. There was a girl I was talking to and wanted to date. We had been talking for a while. We actually went out once and agreed to meet up again. We were trying to meet up again. She started making plans with her other friends more and more. I don’t have any inherent issues with that, but on the other hand she would deliberately hold off on making plans with me so she could make plans with them. There was one time I was trying to plan something with her and she actually said, “Maybe depends on if my my friends want to do something!” That one was upsetting. To make things worse, one of her justifications was “I’ve never been in a friend group before.” Well, I’m in many friend groups. I would never pull something like that on any of my friends or anyone I want to spend time with, the only exceptions being emergencies and my baseball season (I pay to be in my league and my friends understand what the sport means to me and that I want to get my money’s worth so we schedule around that). Eventually, she started to succumb to her mental health. I had know she had mental health issues, but I wasn’t prepared for what she was about to put me through. In one week she went from wanting to be codependent with another man to becoming an avid misandrist (man-hater). I tried to talk to her about it, trying to tell her real men are not her perception of what they are, only to be shut down. After a few more months of this and a few other things dragging on, I just couldn’t her and her mental health issues anymore. It’s not that I have anything against those with mental issues, I have friends who suffer from various ones and I suffered through impaired learning. But these were having a negative impact on me and my life and I had to cut her out. My friends had warned me about her when I mentioned how she put me off for her friends. I wish I had listened to them. FYI, I wouldn’t consider either of the two guys you mentioned men. Men are bigger than that, and that’s what separates the men from the boys.

I know you want to do more social commentary and I am so here for that (you inspired me to study critical theory!), but I could really use a breakdown and commentary from you on the potential overturnment of Roe v. Wade in the US. I was at the rally in Atlanta today and while it was inspiring, it's still fucking heartbreaking to understand what's happening and know that basically unless unprecedented lawful assembly or something bigger occurs, this will probably happen. I've come to realize Roe has a huge impact on my faith in being able to stand by and reform the US system. It's got me questioning my safety and my future. It's been almost 2 years since I left religion (I was raised a Christian, but I have since started considering myself an agnostic deist), and I'm curious to hear of your experiences and changes you made. Recently, especially since I'm currently taking a class on world religion in school, I've become interested in learning about other faiths. In particular, the philosophies of Buddhism and Hinduism are pretty appealing to me, mostly the secular parts of both. I don't think I'll fully convert, but I may want to start incorporating some of those ideas into my life, morals, and ideas. Plus, the story of Siddatha is just a really cool and interesting one to me. Either way, glad you're back, and I'm excited to see what's to come!

I just wanted to say that I feel like the youtube algorithm really sucks and puts alot of pressure on creators. Noone can always perform great and everyone needs time for themselves, especially when going through a hard time. Also I know that making videos takes alot of time and energy, so people expecting creators to post every couple days or even weekly seems like a lot to me. Instead I feel like we should value the quality of the videos and therefore should be able to wait on them. Luckily there are also people who dont care so much and happily wait for their favorite youtubers. I just started following your channel shortly before you took your break and I watched every single video of yous and really love your content. Sure, I was a little sad that you stopped making videos for a while, but I also understand that you have a life besides KZbin and need to prioritize your life and your well being and we also benefit when you do so, because you cable make those great videos when you don’t feel well. I hope this helps but I can relate somewhat to how one thing just piled on after another because I came out as trans this last year, and man did shit hit the fan and a lot of relationships, connections, and etc were either lost or distant. I hope both of our 2022s treat us kinder. I'm super excited to see your religious commentary. I left the Mormon religion this year alongside my wife and so I think it would be cool to see you react to some mormon content if you ever decided too. I had a rough year last year too. Two people I’ve known since my childhood died and I’ve also been feeling lonely for most of last year ngl still am but it’s good I’ll get through it. Hey Kristina I’m so glad your back!! 2021 wasn’t that great for me either. My grandpa died in February from a very sudden heart attack. And then in April, right after my birthday, I was hospitalized for a week bc I had something going wrong with my brain, that my docs couldn’t figure out. On top of that I was diagnosed with pre diabetes, and I have fallen a few times at my home, which kept me bedridden for a few days at a time. I’m feeling better now, but I’m still dealing with the emotional and medical trauma from the beginning of the year. Anyways, I hope you next year will turn out wonderful! Have a great day! ☺️

I’m really sorry you went through so much bad stuff this year, I am a lot older than you and follow different you tube creators because of what they bring to the table your views and videos show a person with thoughts way beyond your years, hell you have shown me things I would never have thought about about world politics and people who are just wrong like Kaitlin Bennett that would have passed me by. I feel for what you went through I have 2 kids both have mental health issues, one has tried to kill himself 4 times the other is going through her own personal thing I try to be there for them but it’s hard as I know the person I was many years ago meant I wasn’t there when they needed me and has formed part of the problems they have now, one thing I will say to anyone who reads this is be careful how you treat the ones you love even if you think your not doing anything to hurt them, look and consider as one day you may have to live with it the rest of your life. On the subject of videos you could make I live in the U.K. and find your videos on right wing politicians in the USA really interesting as we have had a right leaning government here since 2010 the left just can’t move them no matter what they do, I would be really interested to see your opinion on things like them holding parties while we all had to lockdown, people couldn’t see their loved ones who were dying, even our Queen had to bury her husband of nearly 70 years sitting alone in the abbey away from her family while these ‘one rule for you, one rule for us’ people had a party the night before. Anyway welcome back and I really hope 2022 is so much better for you!
