@@richtheConqueror they do this all the time. One of the only fair fights I can think of is Nightwing vs Daredevil when they were straight up almost even. Plus despite how many people are nostalgic for Dragon Ball it is not even close to the strongest verse out there. Comic book characters even if you use just one version of them they can still just be busted and don't get me started on Light Novels with Featherine, Anos, and Rimuru because those guys are in leagues with some comic book Gods including DC's version of God. (I don't want to hear a snarky insult towards comics and say well the comic is stupid and this character sucks because they're to broken may I remind you what series you love so much and brag has broken characters?)

7:09 Why does Thor keep dying in the comics? I don't think thats good justification for him being weak. After all, superman has died countless times in countless different comics, and he lifted a book of infinite pages in one comic. What it comes down to is this: different writers use these characters in different ways to serve different purposes in the plot, unlike dragon ball which follows one ""consistent"" story. Some iterations of superman struggle to lift the statue of liberty while some are borderline omnipotent. But Death Battle takes a characters _strongest_ feats when comparing them, not just picking any random iteration of the character.

I guess you haven't seen most deathbattles... They often break or make up rules. Sometimes they adapt situations in favor of their favorite. Some examples can be: *Akuma vs Shao Khan - they picked the strongest version of Shao Khan but refused to take Akuma vs Asura (since it's not cannon for them). Also this one shouldn't be about power, since both have ways to instantly kill each other. *Ryu vs Scorpion: Ryu wasn't able to land raging demon since "Ryu doesn't have enough experience and Scorpion can dodge it" *Black Goku vs Reverse Flash: RF would spot Black's weakness before Black finds a way to win. It shouldn't be a factor, since they don't give that same privilege to other smart fighters (such as genius fighters like Goku and others).

Crossovers should be considered their own canon, otherwise you can scale Ryu to Thor or some crazy shit. *As for Ryu vs scorpion, i havent even watched it so i have no opinion on the matter. *The difference between Goku black VS Reverse flash and other death battles, is that a real fight between them _really would_ come down to intelligence. You use the example of Goku (i assume vs superman), where you say it is unfair that his intelligence wasnt a factor. Well, if superman and goku were equal on all other fronts then it absolutely WOULD be a factor and would tip the scales in Goku's favor. But the fact that superman can deadass just percieve time millions of times faster than Goku can makes any of Goku's fighting genius tactics irrelevant. However, this WOULDNT be the case for Goku black vs Reverse flash, because in goku black vs reverse flash, since they were both essentially temporally invincible, the ONLY factor that mattered was turning off the others invincibility first.

Mind you this battle didn't even had Thor using the Thor/Odin force. Thor has face numerous universal/multiversal celestial beings way before DB Super had the concept of God's or Angels that destroy the universes. When has Vegeta ever successfully defeated anyone like that. Might as well check out the other Death Battles like Goku vs Superman 1 & 2 and Goku Black vs Reverse Flash. The fights there are way more one-sided than this fight

Thor has died around 10 times - once was suicide to end the cycle of Ragnarok and he wasn’t really dead but simply lost his corporeal form - once was Jane Thor, not Thor Odinson - once it was just Donald Blake - once was by defeating thousands of beyonders with a dying Hyperion (and I’m pretty sure it was 1610 Thor anyway) - Once was literally fated and had to happen due to the Ragnarok cycle despite his opponent being inferior - once was a WHAT IF - once was a nerfed Thor (and I believe it was Eric Masterson rather than the ACTUAL Thor at the time anyway) against the infinity gauntlet - once was marvel zombies where he technically wasn’t dead but just infected - once was the Thanos Wins series (and I guess you could count every other extermination run since Punisher had one, and a few others too, but sometimes Thor isn’t even present for them) which is pretty much the same as a what if and isn’t canon to 616 - once was Finale where he and Thanos both died to some being that ultimately had the damage undone by Adam Warlock… a being who’s had hit shit kicked in by Thor and Thanos countless times easily Most aren’t even canon or 616 canon Thor himself. And the few that were, also were specific moments that eradicated beings who are also stupid powerful AND weren’t even against Odinforce Thor.

He held up the weight of 20 planets, broke a root of Ydraggsil, and has stalemated or bested Hulk, Hercules, and even Galactus in combat. He is one of THE most powerful, if not the single most powerful hero in Marvel. I would put only Hulk, Superman, and Doomsday as his equals in base form, and in his current Immortal Thor run, he is even stronger. I love Vegeta too, yet there is no way he EVER beats Thor. People also forget how strong Thor's lightning is, as well as the fact he can use Mjolnir to absorb energy and create rifts in space-time.
