Great professional work, there’s no escaping those logos, even from a distance they stand out, just like KINGS products😀

If you were to check the new battery now rather than waiting, you can compare new numbers with what has been supplied and your testing device. Then we will be informed and a test later to compare. Cheers for you hard work.

For the battery test shouldent the self protection of kicked in before it got down to 10.7v? Which may be why it was a higher reading?

I rate the carpeting, actually. It's not an easy thing to get right. Considering your profession, I think you know what you're doing 👍🏻

Thanks mate. I’ve learnt a lot in the process of doing a few sets now and I’m happy with how they look.

New drawers look awesome, can I ask what organiser you have on the front of your fridge?

Hi Do you ( or planning) to do drawers for vehicles other than a Y62 - like a Prado 150 ? Do you have different designs to suit a chest fridge rather than an upright or drawer fridge ? Cheers

Congratulations in making your 4WD drawer business official. When will you bring out your website for it? I just checked and there is an existing a4x4a site but isn't yours. Keen to know pricing for a setup on my 80 Series. And if you start making more and more of them and will fit that steel logo, you need to create a jig/template to quickly and accurately align them each time. Loving your designs. 👍

I’m doing a soft start with the drawers. Pretty much just ppl who ask for a set. I want some time of customers having some sets and getting some real world feedback from ppl. I don’t want to put out countless amounts of drawers and find out in 2-3 months that there’s a big drama that will cost me a fortune. So I’m giving it 6 months before I go fully into it
@fatmanoverlanding8 ай бұрын
@@Australian4x4Adventures Fair enough. Do you get a discount for being one of the beta customers (aka guinea pigs)? 😁 I might be interested to put my hand up for an 80 series. 😁
@Australian4x4Adventures8 ай бұрын
I was givin the battery at no cost to me. I’m not sure how many they want to be handing out. The retail cost on the 300amp battery is $2200 I’m fairly sure which is VERY well priced imo
@fatmanoverlanding8 ай бұрын
@@Australian4x4Adventures I meant being a beta customers for your drawer systems. But I just realised, you already have an 80 Series to test one on. Bugger. 😲

The new draw system is a great design Steve. The carpeting looks fine to me. Got to admit I like the look of the merbau better, even though it is 5kg heavier, it is a hardwood. The testing on the iTech battery was impressive, a very good plug for them.
@Australian4x4Adventures8 ай бұрын
I do prefer the murbau colour as well and it’s still going to be an option ( unfortunately it also cost $50 more in my purchase price as well so that’s another factor ). As I said in the video I’ve been happy with the itech overall and the only reason I am changing is because I need to keep trying new things for ppl to see what other products are like.

I'd be interested in some as I like hexaply and cnc cut. Are you doing drawers for other vehicles (Grenadier) or only the y62. Would a flat pack style be the option. Or would it come fully assembled. Would you need a cut list or dimensions?

They don’t currently have a website. But they do an an insta page ( same name as on the battery) Or I can give you the phone number of the owner if you’d like as well. They retail for $2200 from memory

One thing i will say. Stop taking off logos, even if its requested. If they dont want your logo. They dont want your product. Stand by it and be confident in your product. Haters will be there whether youre trash or the best on the market.
@Australian4x4Adventures7 ай бұрын
I’m all for logos. Don’t get me wrong. But I think they should be in places that don’t take away from the overall look of something. So for me having the logo inside the drawer ( on the sides ) is good because they are only seen when open. Having something massive plastered all over the front is a bit over the top for me.
