Horseshoe crabs actually arent crabs though, he's totally right! They're actually "Chelicerates" more closely related to spiders, ticks, and scorpions than any crab! Theyre basically bugs that live underwater, and used to be much much more common a ridiculously long time ago.

@@chrismanuel9768 Correct, they're Crustaceans which are a variety of Arthropods, a category that also includes insects and arachnids and basically every other invertebrate with some form of exoskeleton. Notably though Crustaceans are more closely related to insects than they are to Chelicerates, so yeah, by all functional definitions of the word, crabs are just bugs that live underwater.
