Horseshoe crabs actually arent crabs though, he's totally right! They're actually "Chelicerates" more closely related to spiders, ticks, and scorpions than any crab! Theyre basically bugs that live underwater, and used to be much much more common a ridiculously long time ago.

Notably though Crustaceans are more closely related to insects than they are to Chelicerates, so yeah, by all functional definitions of the word, crabs are just bugs that live underwater.

A more entertaining version of the “anticipation” joke because I’m not sure what the end goal was, I’m sure I’ll get there, but first I’m going to enjoy the very scenic route Drawfee demands we go on to get there. This whole bit reminded me of three year-olds asking the age old question, “Why?” You can literally tell them everything and each thing leads to a “why??” Sometimes each why gets smugger and smugger knowing that you’re running out of knowledge of the universe. Which is why I guess this just swapped to a new universe lol. I always feel bad for Jacob, but he’s a decent sport about it. Some of the questions were valid though about crabs lol.
