We need a premiere pro tutorials. My mocha pro on premiere pro doesn’t have an “export tracking data”. Premiere pro option only shows up on “export shape data”. Every single tutorial you make is about Ae but I mostly use Premiere Pro. I have no clue on how to have track an essential graphics text layer to my footage in premiere pro because there is no option to export tracking data to Pr. Premiere Pro also doesn’t have an “create track data”, “export option”’ nor “export layer to” like After Effects. I only see “Matte” and “module renders”. 🥺

Hi. You have stumbled across the reason that we don't use Premiere Pro to show some of these features. Premiere is much more limited in how tracking data can be used. You can use the Insert module to add a text layer into Premiere Pro. Set up the Surface in Mocha, and choose the Insert clip in there too. If it looks right in the Mocha interface then it will look right back in Premiere Pro too. Exit Mocha and choose Module Render > Insert : Composite. This will composite your clip directly into the Premiere timeline. Note, if you want to do something else just with the inserted text layer, make a duplicate of your layer instead and choose Module Render > Insert : Cutout. Then you will only have your text on that layer. @@borisfxlearn thank you for response. I love Mocha Pro, it’s allowed me to do amazing things that no other software can do, and yes it’s a shame Adobe limits premiere pro. For now, I’ll use the instructions you detailed in terms of module render, insert composite, for basic things, and Ae for more complex things. Thanks again

How would this be possible to attach expressions with the exported track in fusion for Resolve?

Like most things in Fusion, there are a few ways to attach parameters to Mocha track data. Here's a simple one : • Export the track from Mocha Pro and paste that into your Fusion flow • Right-click on the parameter you want to attach the data to • Select Modify with > Offset Position. This will add the modifier and allow you to select the Modifier tab. • In the Modifier tab, right-click on Position and Connect To > Tracker > Unsteady Position • Now manually move the Offset into place.

Does mocha work better if you green screen the recording prior to what you plan to track?

No. You have to use Fusion in Resolve to be able to get that sort of control. I'd recommend taking a look at this Fusion series, as it talks about linking and adjusting tracking data in Part 3 : borisfx.com/free-training/mocha-fusion/

I am using AE 2022, and there is no export in Mocha

N.B. is "nota bene", it means you should note that Mocha AE doesn't have all the tools that are shown in the Mocha Pro interface.

Export Data is only available in Mocha Pro. If you are using Mocha AE you will need to use the Create Track button in the plugin parameters to make your tracking data.
