I dont get why people in comments supporting Shaikh Yaseen so much… the type of preaching he is doing is the reason i leaned towards atheism and away from islam when i was young (i live in USA) .. these types of lecture make you think that you dont need islam and just need ideas like feminism to guide you regarding justice in life … i think it is the MOST damaging type of islamic talk in the west … it is unhelpful for the western muslim listeners and only draws them towards western ideologies … i think DH work here is really important and I hope the brother continues inshaAllah

But American women can have as many boyfriends as they want too. So no, it’s not hypocritical. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with polygamy *provided* the men are honest and women are OK with it. Islam gives every muslim woman the right to be in a monogamous relationship, and if the man agrees to those terms and signs the marital contract, then that contract is legal and binding and he cannot contract a second marriage. If he doesn’t agree, then she need not marry him. It’s that simple. I absolutely consider a married man as another woman’s property and I would stay away from that man. Alas, quite a lot of men lie. They contract marriage with woman in US and hide the fact that they have a wife in their home country, and the wife in the home country is also left in the dark. This is betrayal to both women. Unfortunately, this is too common. Marriage is legal civil contract, and if a man is not being transparent and hiding his marital status, then his second marriage should be automatically voided.

Shaykh Khalid Yasin was who my husband and I would watch over 20 yrs ago when we both were first learning about ISLAAM. May ALLAAH (Azza wa Jal) reward him for all of his efforts in helping to spread the Truth. He would give lectures to huge non Muslim audiences and at the end dozens of people would line up at the stage and ask to take their Shahaadas... maa shaa ALLAAH. May ALLAAH (Azza wa Jal) continue to guide him and protect him.

As-Salamu Alaikum brother Daniel, the stance that you’re taking of spreading the truth is not an easy one, it’s a path with conflicts and enmity. Even the prophet (s.a.w) had to deal with this. Please keep strong brother. For any Muslim who does not believe Islam can be corrupted by people who claim they are Muslims, check up on Ahmadiyah Muslims who use Quran and Sunnah to fit their own personal interpretations & ideologies. Sooner or later in history preachers like Khalid Yasin will be referenced by people in the future just because of his popularity and his opinion will hold weight to his followers creating further division. This is why what Brother Daniel does is very crucial to keeping our ummah healthy and in line with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. No one else is doing this, not even an organization, they only teach you why this group or that group is wrong to their students and that’s it, creating further division. Ask yourself sincerely if this brother decides to stop calling out those who stray then who will?

The compassionate imams are making the impact of Islam looks like nothing. The way he is saying it is cultural problem, I understand that culture of many Muslim lands may not be perfect but saying it like it is cultural problem is awkward. As someone from working family, with father working outside, I can’t recall my childhood with my father. Maybe 1 time he picked me up? I don’t know if I should be sad for him? For myself? And in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn Bashshar the words are:" So that He should see how you act." 2 points I like to make here which can sum everything wrong with muslims in the west and muslims in general. First is it is these sheikhs like yaseen that make you understand the hikma of the hadith where it is probhibited for muslims to settle in kufar lands and judging from where the western muslims are going if you think deep you will see the beauty of this hadith because when you want to settle in kafir lands and systems you will definitely want to mold islam according to it and this is what western so called preachers do day in and day out except a very very few like brother daniel here. Second there are innocent muslims brainwashed to believe every muslim is a saint who can do no wrong well go back to 1400 years and see the role of banu ummaya specifically yazeed what they did to ahlul bayt and other richeous sahabas including ansaars, that should open your eyes to what even some muslims are capable of. So it is nothing new when even muslims come behind you like hungry dogs when you tell them the truth and sunnah, the noble grandson of prophet(pbuh) Hussain taught us through his sunnah that even muslims are capable of committing worst crimes against you when they have love and lust of this world. But the irony is which mainstream imam today teaches you anything about Hussain today? Literally no one!! Because if they teach Hussain and Ali they will have to let go of the lust of this world which btw is even the main theme of Quran but no one touches these things because the present day imams either want the goodies they get from western lifestyles or the goodies they get from corrupt sauds in saudi arabia. For the record I am not a shia but used to call myself a sunni too but now I call myself a muslim

Daniel, if you truly follow the Prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him , you would not be so disrespectful and leave a sour taste in the mouth with every video you post. The Sheikh may have been wrong on certain things, being a human and not an angel. However, you being so snarky and constantly laughing this irritating sarcastic laugh is unislamic as well, and you need to admit to that. The Prophet peace be upon him was gentle and kind, and only firm when it is needed. Even when being firm, he was never mocking anyone, never disrespected anyone or belittled anyone. Be like him. Here's my thing, these brothers get on the internet and do all kinds of criticism and critique, but haven't even taken a single step towards Hijra. They are worried about the words of another man but seemingly unbothered by the impermissibility of living in the west in the first place. They act as if the implementation of Deen in the west was supposed to be perfect. We try our best, but there are many fatawa that are required for the people in the west and that's just the unfortunate reality of living in Darul Kufr. That's why our efforts should be focused and making suitable alternatives elsewhere. And before some starts yapping about nowhere to go, there are many places and would be even more if we approached foreign governments as a group, especially in Africa, like the Lebanese have done in a lot of the subsaharan African countries.

Going against the wave is always a difficult swim and that is precisely what's happening in the Western society. There are many Muslims that knowingly or due to ignorance try hard to conform to Western life style so they try to explain and or practice Islamic principals within the Western context which in most cases deviate people from true Islam. Daniel is one of the few individuals within Western Muslim intellects that are swimming against the wave and there is a push back not only from the enemies of Islam but unfortunately from those so called Muslim preachers that conform to Western values. True Islam does not conform to anything, it is divine and the Creator is not time, nor geography bound. Keep it up my brother Daniel! May Allah reward you for what you do!!
