My eyes are leaking. Not everyone can afford to love a pupster through heartworm treatment. She's the luckiest doggo ever. Thank you for your tireless dedication and generosity. She's grinning! The shelter I got my Cruz from paid for his heartworm treatment as part of their program to get great dogs adopted. A vet travels 100 miles to do it for free.

Thank You for rescuing, fixing, etc. & keeping Christmas. I’m so disappointed you didn’t get Santa... yet! Please try folding the blanket that Santa lays on in box trap. Then fed very little the day before trapping so he’s more hungry on the day you set it. Put a few less hot dogs in smaller pieces OR pieces of cooked chicken leading up to bowl of cooked chicken inside trap. Good idea as mentioned to put trap on the side of building rather then in front. Would be better to do it late @ night w/less ppl, so less distractions. Don’t give up! Please keep trying till you get him! It would be appreciated if you would be able have a video rescuing Santa too! Thank You From The Bottom Of My Heart! Sincerely From A Fellow Rescuer.🍀🐾

I have watched this video multiple times as it gives me the good feels and tears. You both have the biggest hearts. To the few Pee Pat’s who have criticized Jaime and Lester’s efforts to secure Santa, trapping even a loved and loose family dog is difficult because they’re scared and in fight or flight mode. A lot more difficult with a longtime stray/semi-feral dog who has been subjected to neglect and abuse. Be kind. ❤

Christmas found a new family, a home and she will know love and what it's like to have a full tummy, lots of toys and friends to play with.
