When I see the Terrazzo floors I get so happy thinking that looks like a surface I could keep clean, I have never had this kind of flooring before so not sure, but I'm all about the house cleaning. I must have been born with a mop in one hand & a dust rag in the other. lol🥳

I love that you are documenting these homes before they're gone forever. I lived in Adelaide for over 20 years and when people ask me what I loved about living in Adelaide - I always say the character homes. So while I appreciate what you are doing - I don't think I'll be checking in anymore as it breaks my heart to realise that the architecture that I loved so much is disappearing and probably being replaced with the same ugly 'block/cube' houses that have taken over in Sydney. Not much character left in the area I live now. Good score with the figs. Love a good fig. All the best.

Wow, destroying that first home is an absolute travesty, it is such a beautiful and well taken care of home!! The second home I can kind of understand because it is not in a really good location, looks like everything around it has already gone commercial and there is a ton of traffic. But I do hope they save those floors, bathroom fixtures, and those cool amber glass doors. Thanks so much for sharing with us!! Looks like you have yourself a bumper crop of figs there!!

I'm have a sneaky feeling that it's the masons who like the theives who gain money through pansies schemes build huge mansions and large homes and buildings, lose their minds and just write it off as a bank venture and move. And leave it to be either torn down or let nature take its course/ claim.

I thought the pass through was in weird place. As here, weren't they for the milk man's delivery of milk and eggs? When you realized the additions, thought that might be why it was in a weird spot, but it's part of the original home it seems. But it didn't even pass through to the dining room .... Thanks Paul!

I have seen a few of your videos the past three days. Those houses are so pretty, doesn't anyone want to buy one of the gorgeous houses? Some old houses may need some renovation, but not all of them need to be destroyed only because they are old.. That first one was so lovely, i am sure someone could have done something beautiful with it and the garden too. I think the second one could have been wonderful after a nice renovation too.

It is a shame these old homes are slowly disappearing. I grew up in old homes like those. If I could afford a home like that I would gladly live in it. That one in particular would be perfect for me. It really is getting bad with these old homes getting demolished for those newer small, tight and claustrophobic concrete block homes with no room for a backyard for families or entertainment areas.

Hi Paul Both of these homes were clean and beautiful except for that gapping hole in the wall in the second one. It seems like the builders in Australia are as bad as the ones in Canada. These builders buy up houses and demolish them put something else up and get back 3 times what they paid for the houses. Why take a good home and demolish it? These builders in both countries are money hungry. I don’t get it. Well Paul you have given us your best on these 2 videos and I know you will continue to do so in 2024. I don’t know if you are in the Christmas season over in Australia but here in the USA it is Christmas Eve. If it is I want to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2024.🥂We hope to see more videos from you in the new year. Stay safe and well.🎄🎁
