One thing the new Fire Hazard Set is good for is burning it over and over again, which I think is why it's called that. I thought I'd try my hand at something new, ice sculpting, but also a style of build I haven't done before!

Alternatively if you want to get rid of those awkward stairs and you can’t delete them normally. Snap an upper floor, then regular standalone stairs to it so it snaps to another foundation and the support will transfer over to the other stairs. That will avoid the whole deleting walls problem

I thought I was a GENIOUS when I figured out how to finally place a wall the game refused to let me place. The frustration I felt for one wall is what this whole build must of been but it turned out so amazing and you are hilarious! It reminds me of when my boyfriend starting building his first base and asked why he couldnt place a staircase. After looking for a second, I directed him to pick up a wall directly across the base and try again. (Stairs snapped into place) His silent look of confusion that translated to "That makes no sense" was just met by me saying "It's simple, there is no sense here. Take everything you know and do the opposite."

I miss the early days where a week after you finished doing all of this, the game would delete your base for you so you could do it all over again since you had so much fun the first time and you definitely remember exactly how you did all of it. We should really bring that back.

I'm just going to throw this out there, but "laundry list" is an archaic term from a time when people didn't all have washers and dryers in their homes or a laundromat (which wasn't a thing until the '30s or '40s I believe). No list, no way to be sure you're getting everything back from your local laundry service; so the lists were often somewhat lengthy. (edit: grammar clarification)

Love this theme! Fallout seems to favor the mid-century modern decor for some reason. I bought the Flatlands shelter and was thinking of doing a desert ranch type build. Good tip on the placing a tiny item under the chess board, wish I figured that out sooner.

As always, an excellent overview of the construction👍 Buddy, please make a video of the stairs in the game. How to put a ladder in the middle of the foundation, and not on its edge? It is a multi-storey building and I want to save space, but the ladder is placed only on the edge of the foundation and this is a problem. And why does the floor of the second floor shine through the halves of the walls? It doesn't look very nice from the outside.

What the F**K do you want from the game? You are not allowed to be creative or have fun, when you are building! (I personally think, you should be reported to Bathasda for mentioning fun while building.) If you want a easy life playing, go fight Earle solo over and over and over and keep switching servers and fighting Earle over and over. Or go to Westek and do that over and over and over. Being slightly less mad, great build and great video showing just how easy building in Fallout 76 really is. Even the Overseer gave up trying to build a shelter and just placed workbenches at her camp, next to The Wayward. 🤣

Now take all that you built and try to build it again from scratch, while you are building in the cranberry bog close to the forward operating base. I'm a simple builder, not knowing how to do the build magic like you do 700 times, so I just picked a flat location that I liked and started a build. Build, fight off killer robots, scorchbeasts and scorched, go back to building and repeat.
